The "ScreamKiller" gimmick

Anyone remember this? This was another one of those "random attacker" angles, and this one was during Russo's first WCW regime. I remember reading somewhere that it was actually going to be Miss Madness (Molly Holly) in the role, but the angle was dropped after only a week or two. Does anyone know a little more about this (where it was going, etc.)?

I'm guessing it would probably lead to a lame Russo-like swerve in which the person would be revealed to be Jerry Flynn or something

I think Molly got released which caused the angle to get dropped.

Not that it matters because he, you know, sucked; but it's Jerry Flynn.

 

I thought the gimmick was bad, like most which came out of Russo's head at the time (with the exception of the mock Corporation, which I liked). And yes, it was Mona/Miss Madness, but she was gone before any payoff to the angle.

 

It could be possible that there was gonna be some sort of Russo-esque swerve though, maybe something along the lines of multiple people under the mask.
