Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted February 3, 2003 With the formation of the HHHorsemen, I was thinking to myself if a face faction could be formed to battle them. Even though they are Raw, are there any people either on Raw or Smackdown you could see forming together and who could manage them? I say get a upper face like RVD since he isn't the best talker, add in a tag team like the Dudleyz and someone random like say Kane and a manager who can get them over without overshadowing them and it may get over. Add another wrestler who is over enough but could still use some help and it may work. I can't think of any managers though as manager currently are either obsolete or heels. Maybe even add a woman as the manager. The only problem with that is that the women usually take the focus away from the wrestlers and put it on themselves. Guest converge241 Report post Posted February 3, 2003 Union Dudes with Attitudes Wolfpack (Red and Black original) *spider sense says no* in all seriousness probably not..I used to think they always should have a few face factions it doesnt work though..but that goes against the ingrained nature for the babyface to be against the odds, while the heel has the odds on his side. I thought they had it in the Radicals, but they turned them pretty quick The best we can hope for is just a tweener faction They should be a little more of faces just watchin each other's backs though How many implausible beatdowns have happened on a face where in a suspended disbelief you would have to ask "umm why are all the "good guys" just letting this happen?" Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 3, 2003 DX '98. Pretty fucking over face stable.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted February 3, 2003 I really would rather not see Gang Warz '03 between The HHHorsemen and some face stable.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted February 3, 2003 yes but they didnt form them as a face stable they got cheered in a tweener state like the NWO did by all the "cool kids" and WWF had to turn them.. If they tried to pump them out right off the bat as faces though? would have never worked see also BWO
Guest notJames Report post Posted February 3, 2003 The only plausible one would be a post ECW faction, with RVD, the Dudz, and Dreamer. They all have a history of liking each other to some extent, they're all relatively popular with the fans, and they've all been touched by the evil of HHH... okay, maybe not Dreamer, but they could work on it. There aren't any faces on RAW that have that kind of built-in connection or would be as over as a group. Of course, the wHHHorsemen aren't exactly lighting up the switchboards with notoriety, given their weak-ass beatdown of Scott Steroid, but I guess anything new is better than what we've got now, eh? Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 3, 2003 Mick Foley = RATINGS Please get him off the Robot Wars game show besides who else can get the HHHorsemen over other than the man who got HHH over in the 1st place?
Guest notJames Report post Posted February 3, 2003 I hope Mick has enough dignity left to stay off WW_ programming until it's actually fit for consumption... especially RAW. I'd rather be on a meaningless late-night robot show and have fun with some busty young slut than have my name and legacy dragged through the mire by HHH and the monkeys that write RAW. Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 3, 2003 all Mick needs is a hair cut and something decent other than sweat pants to be ready for RAW.
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted February 3, 2003 RVD Kane The DUDleyz You might as well have them managed by Arn Anderson and have them feud with Flair's Horsemen over the horsemen name.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 3, 2003 No reason to add an actual tag team as it's pretty clear that "Team HHH" won't have one. I'm assuming that Rhino will become the fourth member. The best possible Raw face stable RVD (feuds with HHH) Booker T (feuds with Rhino) Kane (feuds with Batista) Hurricane or Goldust (feuds with Orton) In the perfect world HHH allows all of them to look good and we have a decent stable feud. HHH's idea of a perfect face stable on Raw HBK (vs. HHH) Steiner (vs. Rhyno) RVD (vs. Batista) Test (vs. Orton) In HHH's perfect world everyone except HBK will look like total buffoons. HBK will be superman who saves his whole team from HHH beatdowns. HHH gets to pin each of them cleanly at least once on a PPV. In the perfect world that stable would get over and would make a good feud. In HHH's perfect world it will be a bucket of rancid shit. He'll come out of the feud looking like a god who is above these incompetant boobs who dared to challenge his all mighty pooowers.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted February 4, 2003 RVD Kane The DUDleyz You might as well have them managed by Arn Anderson and have them feud with Flair's Horsemen over the horsemen name. I hope you were being sarcastic, because if there's anything worse than HHH parading around under the Horseman name is Kane & the Dudleyz parading around under the Horseman name.
