Guest Dangerous A Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 What do you think of Larry Elder? I know a lot of the black community can't stand him because he is a Liberterian. Actually, quite a bit of people on the left cant stand him. I think he's very intelligent and charismatic. I have read both his books, "Ten Things You Can't Say in America" and "Showdown" and I must say that while I don't see every single solitary issue exactly the same as him, I felt his books spoke to the Liberterian in me. So what do you think of him? Even if you aren't Liberterian, but know who he is, tell us what you think.
Guest ant_7000 Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 I don't really like Moral Court but he comes off intelligent and charismatic on the show.
Guest NoCalMike Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 I am pretty socially libertarian, so there is plenty I agree about when it comes to Larry Elder, but as far as fiscally, and economically, that is where we part ways. He seems pretty damn intelligent though. I remember once on TalkBack live the Libs and Greens got into it big time over an issue forgot what is was though.
Guest hardyz1 Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Hmm, don't know him. I'll have to do some research.
Guest Sturgis Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 I think he's intellingent but annoying at times, but in the long run I support him.
Guest hardyz1 Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 I've done a little reading and he seems like a good guy to me. I disagree with him on the minimum wage, though. His show isn't on around here, so I haven't heard him talk about anything. His "Ten Things You Can't Say In America" looks pretty interesting.

Guest hardyz1 Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 On the front page of his web site he says he is for eliminating it.
