Hayabusa's last match: I just downloaded it...

Recommended Posts

First off, the ONLY reason I downloaded it, is because I am simply a fan of Hayabusa, period. I've seen tons of his matches, and I felt I owed it to myself, as a fan of his, to see his final match. I get no pleasure out of what happens, I am not the type to enjoy sick shit like that. I simply had to see his last performance. Anyhow...

...as I was watching it, and it got to the accident, it just seemed very strange to me. After it happened, obviously, no one knew what to do at all. As he was on the mat right after it happened, the ref went over to him, and started to move his neck all around over and over. Now I don't know about you, but isn't that the fucking LAST thing you do to someone who has just suffered a neck injury? After that, his opponent (I am not sure who it was, so feel free to let me know), went over to him, kicked him, tried to pin him but the ref wouldn't count, and then he lifted Hayabusa's neck off the mat, and applied a side headlock to him. Again, isn't that a no no in these instances? Keep in mind, this is all going on as he is on the mat, not moving at ALL, none, zip, nada, period. After a minute or two, the ref goes back and moves his neck as if he's checking on him, then FINALLY calls for the bell, and for some help.

I'm almost inclined to believe that this isn't the actual match in which he was hurt, but I know it has to be. Do any of you know about what everyone was thinking when this horrible accident happend? What I mean by that, was simply what everyone was thinking, etc... Did they not suspect that he was hurt as bad as he was? Even if that isn't the case, did they ever come out and explain how they acted when it first happened? I understand them not knowing what to do instantly, but still, it all just seemed very weird to me.

Also, there is this guy with a yellow rag on his head that ran to the ring. Who is he, and what was he saying there at the end? I'm sorry if this makes any of you angry for my bringing all this up, but I try to learn as much about every aspect of Pro. Wrestling that I can, and this is no different. I'm simply here to lear, and that is all, thanks guys.

On a side note, what is Hayabusa's condition right now? Is he recovering at all?

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

I remember watching Dangerous Queen Story and it showed a clip of Hokuto taking a 2nd rope Tombstone Piledriver which I would assume is the one where she had her neck broken. The ref goes to work on her neck as if he's trying to jolt it back into place as if it's a dislocation of some type.

I have no idea what Hayabusa's physical condition is but he started a promotion called WMF last year.

Judging from some pics of the first WMF show it also looks like he dropped a considerable amount of weight too.

I read some report that said on 12/12/02, Hayabusa walked to the ring to talk to the fans at a show, under his own power, using crutches...

...fucking, amazing.

If Hayabusa can EVER wrestle again...and he gets anywhere NEAR the level he was before the injury...

You have one of the best real-life stories in wrestling history.

Of course, I'm a 'Busa mark...

Wow, dude can walk now under his own free will? Fuckin-A!

Anybody know how good this WMF promotion is? Is it like FMW?
