Kurt Angle Mark Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Team Angle defeated The Guerrero Brothers to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles a couple minutes ago in Philadelphia, Pa. at the Smackdown tapings. We'll have complete results later. credit: PWtorch.com
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Damn......they should've drug it out until NWO.
Rob E Dangerously Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 The Guerrero Brothers? Eddy and Chavo are uncle and cousin. Morons.
Guest Repo Man jr Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Should the correct name be "The Guerrero uncle and cousins"?
Guest Anglesault Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 AN-GLE, AN-GLE! Okay, now like 37 rematches followed by a singles push for at least Eddy.
Guest AndrewTS Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 The Super Guerrero Brothers! Coming soon to the Nintendo Gamecube. Oh well--AUTOMATICALLY SD destroys Raw this week again.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 The Guerrero Brothers? Eddy and Chavo are uncle and cousin. Morons. Uncle and nephew, actually.
Guest AndrewTS Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Should the correct name be "The Guerrero uncle and cousins"? Los Guerreros.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I thought they'd save a Tag title chance for No Way Out, though they'll probably have a rematch at the PPV anyway.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 The Guerrero Brothers? Eddy and Chavo are uncle and cousin. Morons. Uncle and nephew dude.
Guest Aero Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I figured they would hold the first match out until Wrestlemania, but whatever. Bottom line, I'll be setting my VCR for Smackdown. Maybe they'll fight at No Way Out in a rematch, but I'd rather see a Smackdown main event of Kurt Angle, Big Show, & Team Angle vs. Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, & Los Guerreros in an elimination match to set up Wrestlemania. Then at WM, there can be a tag team ladder match for the belts. I'd be up for one. Most people say that WWE has overused the ladder gimmick, and they're right, but the Guerreros and Team Angle are at least new to it, minus one RVD-Eddie match. And it would be a change from the usual spot-fest that is TLC.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 The Guerrero Brothers? Eddy and Chavo are uncle and cousin. Morons. I think everyone knew what you meant, but that still made you look pretty bad.

I LIKE IT~! Logically, the eliminations would go this way, right? 1. Chavo by Angle 2. Benjamin By Eddy 3, 4. Show, Undertaker, Double Countout. 5: Eddy, by Angle 6. Hass, By Brock. 7. Brock, by Angle. or something like that.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 The Guerrero Brothers? Eddy and Chavo are uncle and cousin. Morons. Uncle and nephew, actually. Just about to post that, but you beat me too it. Know too much for your own good, bastard. UYI

WWE would just have to be careful about how they play out a Brock-Angle finish. On one hand, they don't want to put Brock over just yet, because then a WM win (which will most likely happen) would be a little too anti-climatic. But, if Angle were to eliminate Brock, then I'm thinking it would have to be by cheating, but they don't want to make Angle look too weak going into WM.

Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Hey......I didn't see him say it up there. Sue me. *please don't sue me. i'm unemployed with no lawyer*
Guest AndrewTS Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I thought they'd save a Tag title chance for No Way Out, though they'll probably have a rematch at the PPV anyway. Yeah. They need a scapegoat for when Steiner/HHH and an Albert PPV match sinks the show.

"Angle can beat Brock. Can Brock beat Angle?" Oldest storyline out there. After showing that brock can manhandle Angle at will, Angle needs the clean win.
Guest snuffbox Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Any word on crowd heat or workrate for this match yet?

Benoit > Undertaker Because Big Show is feuding with Taker. Maybe Benoit/Edge on this show.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 We'll probably have Guerreros face Vanilla Twice to end their mini-feud and Taker/Big Show instead of having them involved in the main. For the ME, I see Team Angle (all 3) vs Brock, Benoit, and Edge with Team Angle winning clean.
Guest Choken One Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Um...Did this Certain Jerk the show? Looks like it...
Guest Brian Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 I'd imagine their not doing elimination for the big match being as they should keep some intrigue going for a tag title match, but Angle over Brock is the right thing (pass out in the anklelock?).
