This time, we find Ejiro Fasaki jogging along the mean streets of Connecticut in preperation for his battles to come. And while he does so... he shares a bit of wisdom with the viewing public. "You know, there have been a number of bad stories throughout history that will try and tell you that love is the most powerful emotion that lives in the heart of man," breaths Ejiro rather easily as he runs along, "But me? I really don't subscribe to that theory. I have always been of the opinion that hate ... while maybe not bringing out the same passion as love is simply a more effective tool for the human race. I mean, people fall out of love all the time. When was the last time you heard about someone giving up their hate? Oh no... hate burns... long and simmering... and it stays with you for as long as you need it to and drives you as a person to do things that you never thought you could." "Come on people, consider the grand effects that hate has had on our little mudball and love doesn't even come close. All those wars... all those empires..." Ejiro stops for a moment to look directly into the camera, "Hell, because a few people hated enough... they were able to take Jesus Christ and put him on a cross. Think about that. Hate killed God." Ejiro starts off once more with the camera in tow once more. "And while I'm not planning on taking out any dieties at the moment, I do intend to use my hate as a weapon here in the SWF. I intend to use my hate to help The Magnificent Seven continue to be the most dominate faction in this sport. I intend to use my hate to get back at Annie Eclectic for tossing me over the top rope during that Clusterfuck monstrousity. And believe you me, I will get my hands on her sooner or later. I intend to use that hate to finally put Wildchild and Johnny Dangerous past me and the rest of The Magnificent Seven so we can concentrate on more important things. And I really, really am going to use that hate to get myself a piece of Longdogger Pete..." "Why Longdogger Pete? Because that grotesque monstrousity decided that it would be in his best interests to challenge me. A few weeks ago, Pete stuck his nose in my business and in a roundabout way caused me to end my rather epic SJL career on a low note. He decided to make my world a little less happy. A little less fun. And when he did, he caused a little spark of hatred to begin the burning process. And now that I'm here, that spark is ready to be unleashed on LDP. But its not a spark anymore... its a firestorm of rage. That genetic abberation is going to find out... sooner or later that he should never have made me hate him even the smallest way. Reminds people of what went on in the JL pre-bump, which, unfortunately, too many people don't pay attention to. Also, you're in the M7, so (Y). Seeing as you're the only bumpee to promo thus far, and you already seem to have a feud or two nailed down, I think you're in good shape. We also get a good sense of the hateful, bitter voice that Ejiro has, and some snarky meta-text at the beginning. Guest realitycheck Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Ejiro is teh promo monster. Two in, like, a week. Good show, dude. As for the promo itself, I'm with most everyone else. It gets Ejiro's drive and motivation across as efficently and directly as your JL promos did, but it lacks some panache. Although, an LDP/Ejiro feud looks A-OK to me. Also, I totally agree with Tom. You SHOULD run everything you write by me. I mean, yeah, I'll take credit for your character and everything, but just think! I like how you use the shoot interview style: It really fits you well, and you do a great job at getting the most out of it (Like the one before CF, where you mention your dad saying "I don't think they are into you, son." It meant so much more because he was saying it rather than just thinking back and remembering it.). Also, a great set up for the feud with Pete, and doesn't make it a random feud with someone.
