Guest Ace309 Report post Posted February 6, 2003 All you need are some basic soldering skills and a passing understanding of USB, which they give you in the article. http://www.blagged-hardware.net/index.php?index=41 This looks sweet.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted February 6, 2003 I'd probably end up flubbing the soldering and killing the controller, but still, it's some peachy keen stuff you can do with a little bit of cash and time on your hands.
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted February 6, 2003 Soldering is easier than masturbating.
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 6, 2003 The adapter that allows you to use a Xbox controller with PC is only 15 dollars. Call me crazy, but I think it'd be cheaper to get that and use on your current Xbox controller (since it's just an adapter it doesn't ruin your controller like soldering it does), instead of buying another controller and a USB cord. Not to mention less work.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted February 6, 2003 Hmm. Logitech sells a wireless controller that can be used with either the X Box or the PC. Seems like the way to go to me if you had to have that monstrosity of a controller to use for your pc. Why M$ didn't copy the design of the sidewinder for the X Box controller I'll never understand.
