Guest The Superstar Report post Posted February 6, 2003 THE BRITISH BULLDOG DAVEY BOY SMITH! ------------------------------------------ By a landslide vote of 11-1, The British Bulldog defeated Shawn Michaels in the finals of the Greatest European Championship Tournament. Thanks to everyone who voted in every round, and even to those that just voted in one. It's been fun.

Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted February 6, 2003 That's a bad picture of Bulldog it looks like he has a perky uni-tit.
Guest caboose Report post Posted February 14, 2003 Dammit D-Lo should have at least been the one to job to Davey in the final. Poor guy can't catch a break at the moment...
NYU 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2003 *rolls eyes* Oh yes, HBK was just SO awful. I mean, boy he sure ruined that title. And how dare the man want to be in the same ring as the British Bulldog. What the hell was he thinking ? ....I mean, sure British Bulldog was good. But better than HBK by a margin of 11-1 ? No way.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted February 17, 2003 If the poll was about who was the better European Champion, then I agree with the results. You make it sound like it was about who was the better wrestler (if that's not the case, then I apologize). Oh, and this will be for my own amusement: how exactly did Michaels NOT ruin the title? NYU 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2003 Michaels was the biggest superstar in the federation at the time, had an awesome match with Bulldog for the title, got the belt extremely over ( like it or not, Bulldog didn't do much for the title, while Michaels was the hottest heel going ), and then "dropped" the belt to HHH who, with the now more established belt, was able to go on to have some pretty decent matches with it. Did that entertain you enough ? Most people, when recalling the Euro Title reign, remember Michaels' "loss" to HHH when he dropped the title, but nothing else. Michaels brought the title from a "Eh, let's give it to the only European guy on the roster" to "Hey, maybe this title is for real after all" Michaels was the top guy in the company and was holding this belt, which does add to its prestige just a little. Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted February 17, 2003 Michaels was a big time heel whether or not he had the belt, and I don't recall him getting the title extremely over as he never defended it. If you have some instances of him doing so (defending AND getting the title over) that I may have missed?

No way. it was a poll about the better euro champ, not the better wrestler.... and DBS was by far a better euro champ. He held the title forever and defended it..... HBK had it as a prop and layed down for HHH to win it. Pitiful. I think the D-Lo/X-Pac feud was the highest point for the euro belt.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2003 He got the title. Treated it as a joke. And then layed down for HHH to give it away.
