2 missions to take you to shoreside vale.

Ok in GTA3 there are two missions that get you to Shoreside Vale. Either getting the dirty cop to the airport or going and getting stuff out of the plane for Donald Love.

Well when I do the cop one I get wasted by the guys on the bridge!

When I do Love's mission I get wasted by the Cartel that awaits me!

 

So what's the best way to do these 2 missions?

And to those that have beaten it.....how many missions left till it's over?

For taking the cop to the airport, take the Porter Tunnel, which takes you under the bridge of death - using it makes the mission relatively easy and safe.

 

The other mission where you grab the stuff out of the plane for Love is pretty ridiculous - what I did is I parked a Barracks OL next to the dock so that the second I got out of the boat and off the port, I had that monstrous thing waiting for me.  (Though this might be risky - sometimes, GTA3 "forgets" where you park particular cars like that if you go too far away, so it could potentially be gone by the time you get back)

 

You can check how many missions you have left on the status screen - I think there's some 75 missions or something to do, and it shows you how many you've completed.  By that part in the game, I think you've got about 15-20 missions left in the pocket.

Well.........I beat the Cartel mission. Now I have to do that tunnel thing....thanks.

Does anyone else find it kinda hard to find your way around at times? I hate getting lost in the endless maze of streets.....especially when I have a time limit.

Doing Taxi missions will help you with that problem.

Yes......Taxi Missions.

And vigilante missions can help to. Because you have to chase them around the #### city.

Yeah, Taxi missions will do you good - or just steal a car and once you get to a new area of the town, and steal other, making a little daisy chain around town.

 

I thought the worst place was the second city (Portland?) - it seems like it should be easy with all of those straight streets, but there's very little in the way of landmarks other than some stuff surrounding the park by your hideout.

I think the second island is Staunton Island. I think Shoreside Vale is the hardest. There's to many twists and turns. And to much nothing space. But yes Staunton Island was hard when I first got their.

Since there that stupid memory card shortage i cant save mission to mission, so i just enter the tank code and the flying code and just fly over the two broken bridges in the game to get from place to place
