I remember the Sheepherders having a manager, was it Sir Oliver Humperdink? I cannot remember for the life of me.

They had flag bearers most of the time who would basically just whack people with... well you guessed it. I think I've heard that Johnny Ace did that for a time, and I know that Rip Morgan (of The Royal Family w/ Jack Victory) had the role for a while.

The first manager that I remember was Lord Jonathan Boyd, back when they used to have the bloodbaths with the Invaders in Puerto Rico. It might have been against the Medics, too, I don't really remember who the faces were, all I remember was seeing pictures of them in BRUTAL BLOODY matches with masked wrestlers. Even the masked guys would blade. There would be articles and pictures in the old cheap magazines (not PWI or the Wrestler or Inside Wrestling, but the really cheap ones with the black and white porno ads in the back).

 

I think he might have started out as a temporary Sheepherder when Butch was sent back to Australia for personal problems, but that might just be the kayfabe story, I'm unsure.

This will get me some hate from our Aussie contingency, but I had a few whiskey's in me and just got the two confused.
