Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted February 6, 2003 WWE is making no bones about giving Edge a big push, but with Angle vs. Lesnar set for WM, what can they do with him...how about this? Rock vs. Hogan is set for No Way Out. Rock beats Hogan by cheating methods and then proceeds to kick the tar out of him, Edge being buddies with Hogan makes the save, and they do a grudge match for Wrestlemania. Edge vs. Rock would be a huge match for the PPV and with someone like Rock, even with his limited moveset, is still awesome when he's "on" could probably carry Edge to at least ***1/2. As good as that Edge experiment sounds to me, I'd want either one of those before Edge/Rock as well. A rematch from WMX7 with Rock and Austin will definately be a good match no matter what. But I'd like to see Beniot get a good spot on the Wrestlemania X9 card, and the only 'good' spot I could hope for is against The Rock. Wishful thinking at its best I suppose. Benoit could talk about how wrestling is his be all and end all and Rock could talk about how he used wrestling as a stepping stone to "true superstardom".
