Guest Flyboy Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 How big were you compared to the other guys on your team Flyboy? I was the smallest lineman.
Guest Sassquatch Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Did any of the other linemen make Rudy jokes about your size? I know our guys did when we had this little guy playing right guard and even though we were nearly two times his size, he could still hit you like Hell right in the numbers.
Guest Flyboy Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Did any of the other linemen make Rudy jokes about your size? No. I was the smallest, but also the fastest.
Guest bob_barron Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 So far at college I've suffered a concussion and thrown out my back
Guest jimmy no nose Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 In highschool I broke a wrist playing touch football during gym class. It sounds like the dumbest injury ever to me. Luckily it didnt hurt and I didnt have to do gym class for 4 whole months. Also I dislocated my shoulder in real football the next year and it still pops out constantly.
Guest Insanityman Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 Well, if you count skateboarding I'll add to the group of "Shit, was it meant to twist that way?", bloody lip (quite a few), weak knees, and I've gotten various injuries from fighting... but that's not a sport really.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 One time during a pick up game of basketball some guy threw my shot into the next stratosphere. Okay, fine, good block but of course he tauned. Next time I get the ball, I charged him with everything I had and dunked it about as hard as I could. Cracked hand from hitting the rim so hard and he sort of almost blocked me again as his hand was on the ball, problem was I kept going, resulting in him having 4 broken fingers and a dislocated wrist. Ugly funny stuff.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 So far at college I've suffered a concussion and thrown out my back And that was just from seeing William Regal on TV. C'mon, Bob, this is SPORTS injuries. Heh.
Guest The Superstar Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 Nothing serious, since swimming is a relatively safe sport. Although I did sprain a German exchange student's thumb by throwing a 10 pound medicine ball a little too hard.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 Not too many Organized sports. A Bunch of family games, though. Fucked up my hip pretty bad playing football. Had a screwy knee, and I was playing a family whiffle ball game, over compensated for the knee on a swing, lost my balance, and messed the OTHER knee up.
