I hate the new Kurt Angle

Well, I agree with the original poster. The old Angle was hilarious and rocked in the ring. Now he just rocks in the ring.

 

His previous persona could have gotten over in the Main Events with just a slight tweak of seriousness. Of course, that would have required good writing. During the HHH/Stephanie/Kurt storyline heading into Summerslam 2000 this was happening. Angle would play the goofball, but every now and then when people left the room, or were'nt looking he would give that smirk that gave you the impression that he was playing everyone.

 

Also, the bald head is just not a good look. Few white guys pull that off like Austin can.

And calling Angle's "new" character dark and evil is a joke. There's nothing dark nor evil about Angle. How is becoming serious dark and evil? Stop letting your imagination go nuts.

 

Angle desperately needed a serious and anyone who disagrees is insane. However he probably could mix both personalities together and be fine. And that may happen when Angle is comfortable with doing a little of both at one time.
