Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted February 7, 2003 After one hell of a week, today, I woke up to about 3-4 inches of snow, and all schools cancelled. Too bad now, we will have to get out of school June 26 now...
Guest tank_abbott Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Renegade, not to start a flame war or anything, but between getting excited over snow, and throwing food at school, you seem to get excited VERY easily. This will/may cause you premature ejaculation down the road...jus' sayin'

The reason why I post the snow thing.....I HATE MY SCHOOL. Any day I am not in it is heaven. So far, like 6-7 inches have fallen. Last year, they would have never cancelled school, and we would have to suffer in the cold, waiting to go to school......

Guest Kingpk Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Looks like we're getting about 10-12 today down here. Was snowing like hell about an hour ago. It's fun to see cars struggle to get up my street (which rarely gets plowed during snowstorms.
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted February 7, 2003 I know, three inches is very little, but take this into consideration. More than 70% of the teachers at my school don't live in NJ. Last time they left school open, there was a lot of cutting of classes, classes left unattended, and not enough subs.
Guest Phr33k Report post Posted February 7, 2003 One snow day in 6 years of living in Calgary. March 17, 1998. 5 feet of it overnight.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Snow is nothing. Try day time temp next Tuesday of 8, and low of -13. It's a balmy 13 degrees outside with a 7 degree windchill.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted February 8, 2003 You'd think that since I live in Canada, I'd get some snow, but I haven't. Seriously, zero snow.
Guest DerangedHermit Report post Posted February 8, 2003 It takes about 8 inches to close the school here. It used to be less (about 6), but since the new superintendent of the district is from Buffalo...
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 8, 2003 It was about a 15" today when I had to start walking home...from school...which wasn't cancelled...and I'm glad, because it means I don't have to stay for another day in June. I'm lucky this kid I know named Scott stopped and offered me a ride.
