Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 8, 2003 We have this meaningless trite bullshit thread every 3 weeks. Abstain from the tireless meaningless criticisms of whom isn't deserving of a job to support their families and act as if your the superior one who believes that they should control the destiny of their fates. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted February 8, 2003 I was thinking Nunzio--they hired him just to feed him to the hosses? Why? Isn't that why we have Crash and Kidman?
Guest JMA Report post Posted February 8, 2003 A mod will probably move this to the polls and lists folder soon. Before that, however, I would like to list my choices. Terri Jackie Gayda Jacqueline Scott Steiner Test Triple H Kevin Nash Shawn Michaels Lita Bradshaw A-Train Big Show Bill DeMott Billy Gunn Rikishi Hulk Hogan Mark Henry I feel with these guys gone WWE can hire some younger stars with a higher work-rate. It might also end the split.

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Why end the split??? So all the great matches on Smackdown! can dissapear??? Why fire Hogan? He pops the crowd HUGE. Why fire Rikishi? He also gets a good crowd reaction and is good for house shows and Velocity

He also gets a good crowd reaction and is good for house shows and Velocity You'll notice I fired all the hosses. Therefore there would still be great matches; moreso even. Hogan is too past his prime. Rikishi sticks his ass in other people's faces to get that reaction. Not that this is his fault. The writers came up with this after a dose of acid. But I doupt he can be salvaged from this. Lastly, I didn't say I would end the split, only that it might not be nessacary anymore.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Yea but know you have Triple H taking up two shows. Both shows have found their niche and they shouldn't end the split because one show is far superior to the other. Hogan is past his prime but he still draws a HUGE HUGE HUGE pop and his match v. Vince will draw for Mania. Rikishi's gimmick is stupid but it is perfect for house shows and B-shows

After that I see no reason to keep him. I don't accept things I find stupid. Sticking your ass in your opponent's face is one of those things.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 You can't just up and fire Triple H. Hogan is perfect for public appearances or wrestling dark matches. He could also do another tag team run like he did with Edge. We've already established that about Rikishi. But you cannot deny that it pops the crowd big and his shtick is over. He should be kept on Velocity and house shows.

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 In the real world we're talking. I liked it a lot- it gave crowds the chance to see Hogan wrestler and all he had to was make the hot tag and do one or two moves and that's it. The fans felt like they got their money's worth, Edge got a huge rub from working with Hogan and it also helped Team Canada. I loved his run with Edge and wish he would do another one with someone who could use the rub. He can't- they tried badman Rikishi and it didn't work
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Why fire the people whom the fans enjoy watching? I don't know why they like Rikishi, but they do, so therefore he has worth. Hogan is also good for one or two matches a year as a 'special attraction' or whatever. The crowd loves him, they enjoy seeing him and they enjoy cheering him. HHH still has value in that if you can get him to put over someone it will mean a lot to that person whom defeats him. Now, Stephanie McMahon... Bad actress, Bad writer, just a stupid stupid girl. No business being in wrestling. She should go do something else - I'm sure there is a demand for a talentless hack in some other industry.

He can't- they tried badman Rikishi and it didn't work In this hypothetical situation I control Vince McMahon. Triple H would be gone. I don't like hot tags and I don't like broken down old guys. I mean a gimmick that doesn't involve the name "Rikishi," dancing, or his ass. If he can't eventually get a new gimmick he won't last long in the real world anyways. They are mostly lemmings anyways. Easy to control lemmings. Sure, he has so-called "entertainment value." But I would insist on a more wrestling oriented product. I think many people have been OVER-estimating Hogan. He isn't needed. He needs to retire and rest on his laurels. Otherwise he'll just piss his legacy away. Triple H has burned his bridges with me. He needs to be taught an extreme lesson in humility. Taking him away from the big time is the perfect way. I agree with you about Steph.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted February 8, 2003 The marks are the majority of your ratings and attendence, "Vince". And HHH burned his bridges with you? You deluded psychopath, first you think you're Vince McMahon, and now you claim to have been scorned by HHH!
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 What Mattdotcom said- There are a lot more marks then there are us. You need hot tags and you need wrestlers like Rikishi because if a crowd is not catered to- they're not gonna come back next time. When I go to a live show I like to have fun so I love hot tags and guys like Rikishi. I don't sit there going: Damn- he's been doing this for three years. Boooo! Hogan isn't "pissing away his legacy" either and is a valueable. They can use him to get other stars over or use him in dream matches. He could also fight in the midcard as a way of again- making the fans feel happy that they got to see Hulk Hogan. Why don't you like tag team formula? It's simple, it's effective and it always results in a hot crowd
Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Can anyone say RISK? --Rob
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Yes Rob. You- since you constantly always bring him up when threads like these are mentioned when in all honesty- no one gives a flying fuck about your "feud" with RISK
Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Bob, why so bitter against me? I was simply pointing out that it reminded me of RISK. Threads like this give no respect to the business what so ever. Anyone who is in the wwe, obviously deserves to be there. My "feud" with risk has nothing to do with you being bitter against me so, save that for the proper thread. --Rob
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 8, 2003 That's not true though Rob. There are people in WWE who add nothing to the federation except for the fact that thay take up roster space and a salary. WWE could do without some people they dont use so there are some people who should be fired.

You deluded psychopath, first you think you're Vince McMahon, and now you claim to have been scorned by HHH! The marks are easy to control. Look at the crap they buy into now. Geez, calm down guy. This isn't a serious thread or anything. Calm down before posting again. In this situation the poster would control Vince, and thus, be able to fire whoever he/she chooses. It's that simple. I'm trying to have a thread here about WWE. If you don't like it, for whatever odd reason, don't post here. I could care less about your feud with this guy. My only goal is this discussion. And if you would read your threads on CE Jonstone, you would see Bob and many others are offended by your beliefs. I believe you really upset Bob with your views on the holocaust, seeing as his grand-parents were there. You've upset many people including Tyler, Rob E., Retro Rob, Annie, Powerplay, and others. If you don't intend to contribute to my thread then I suggest you leave. And let me just say that I wish you WOULD feud more with RISK or whatever the hell his name is. At least then you would stay out of the CE folder. Good day to you.

I welcome any constructive critisism anyone may have. Feel free to make your own list as well. After all, this thread isn't just about my thoughts of the matter. I'd also like to add the Undertaker to my list.
