There are asshole liberals who can't understand that a cops job is to remain objective to the issue at hand and do what he is instructed to do. Somehow these asshole liberals decide that this means the cops are supporting the conservative side of the issue, and they start shit with the cops, seeing them as a tangible mafiestation of the conservative belief system. On the other hand, cops don't get paid for shit these days and as such, we have a LOT of substandard police officers. And these cops can get a little shifty and underhanded and start shit because they enjoy their position of authority and are using it to compensate for the lower class lifestyles and intelligence levels. In conclusion, both sides could learn to be a little more fucking selective on who they choose to attack. Now if only we could get all the asshole cops and dickwad protestors together, arm them to the teeth, and let them do away with one another, then we'd be one step closer to utopia.

Yes, I know the vast majority of people who protest are for the most part peaceful -- it's a small minority of idiots that start all the trouble, and of course that's whom the media focus on. Spoil sports. So I guess this is where we all circle-jerk and make up. Ooooh, I just shot my load -- now I feel all better. But I still love me a good hippie beating...
Guest Sassquatch Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 If the protesters are a threat to the well-being of bystanders and the police officers around them, then the police are within their power to cause the protesters to stop what they are doing as it pertains to the safety of others which could be in danger. But if the protesters are not hurting or threatening anyone with physical violence, then the police should not be able to lay a hand on them.

How you apologized for saying 'God damn', but you wouldn't apologize for calling him a liberal, like it was such a bad thing to be called. That's all.

And every six months, when a protest is around they get a chance to take out their frustrations. You know, it's not easy being a pig and being dirty.
