The Godfather and D-Lo Brown (w/Ice-T) v. Bossman and Bull Buchanan

 

THE STORYLINE- Bull debuted on Heat and since these four havent gotten along.

 

THE MATCH-Ice-T raps. Godfather does his usual spiel. D-Lo and Bull start. D-Lo outsmarts him and gets heel kick. Bossman tries to cheat but Godfather cheats. Tag Godfather who gets powerslam, D-Lo splash and Godfather legdrop. Godfather misses elbow- tag Bossman. Godfather takes control. ‘Bossman sucks’. Godfather kicks him for two. Tag D-Lo. Bossman goes to eyes and tags Bull. D-Lo does ten punches but Bull soon takes control. D-Lo fights back with punches but the heels do double sliding punches. D-Lo becomes f-I-p as the heels work him over and get some near falls. Godfather runs in but gets nowhere as D-Lo continues to get his ass kicked. Godfather shakes ropes and Bull gets crotched which leads to top-rope hurricarana. Hot tag Godfather who cleans house. Ho Train to Bossman and he tags D-Lo. A pier-4 erupts but Bossman gets Bossman Slam and Buch gets top-rope legdrop for the win. **

 

WHERE ARE THEY NOW- D-Lo and Bull are in HWA, Godfather and Bossman are in WWF

 

Triple H and SMH are relaxed backstage. JR and King comment. On HEAT- Tim White reads the rules of hardcore battle royal

 

Crash Holly v. Tazz v. Hardcore Holly v. Joey Abs v. Rodney v. Faarooq v. Sho Funaki v. Viscera v. Mosh v. Bradshaw v. Thrasher v. Pete Gas v. TAKA in a Hardcore Battle Royal- winner is champ after fifteen minutes, belt can change any # of times

 

THE STORYLINE- Crash won the title from Test and declared the title would be on the line at all times. This caused everyone to gun for him and the title.

 

THE MATCH-Big huge brawl to start. Tazz gets a Tazzplex and wins the title. Vis attacks Tazz, rams him into post and slams him for the title. Everyone hits each other with weapons and stuff. Crash blades as APA go after Vis but he hits both with cookie sheet. Vis kills Crash but Bradshaw uses a cookie sheet and lays everyone out but Taz lays him out. Vis gets hit with garbage can for two by Hardcore. Mosh covers-2. Tennis rackets get involved, Pete Gas has bladed. Everyone hits each other and Vis takes everyone out. Faarooq gives TAKA a Dominator and Vis goes up top and gets slammed down. APA kick Vis’ ass and Funaki covers for the title. TAKA punks him out. Everyone chases Funaki who runs to the back. They catch up to him and Rodney covers for the title. Joey Abs gives him a gutwrench suplex on concrete for title. Joey Abs gets his ass kicked- Thrasher rams him into door for title. Everyone kicks his ass. He runs back out and gets fire extinguished by Pete Gas. Pete Gas covers for the title. Pete is bleeding heavily. Tazz kicks his ass. Suplex and Tazz wins title. Hardcore beats up Tazz but can’t win title. Tazz starts covering people for some reason. Mosh almost wins title. Hollys beat up Tazz but he fights back. Hollys fight and Tazz kicks both their asses. Bradshaw beats up people with cans as both Hollys fight over covering Tazz. Tazz kicks Crash’s ass but Hardcore attacks and they both attack and cover him. Hardcore tosses Crash out and dropkicks Tazz for two. Tazz suplexes him out. Crash runs in and whacks him with cookie sheet for three. Tazz gets Tazzmission but Hardcore runs in and whacks Crash with jar for the botched win. *** Tim White screwed up. Title changes- Tazz, Viscera, Funaki, Rodney, Joey Abs, Thrasher, Pete Gas, Tazz, Crash, Hardcore

THE STORYLINE- No clue.

 

THE MATCH-Al Snow brings out Chester McCheesterton a guy in a cheese suit. Test and Blackman start. Tag Snow- JR’s headset goes out. T&A kick Snow’s ass. Al Snow goes to eyes and beats on Albert. Takedown- Test saves. Tag Blackman. Blackman works Albert over. Snow jumps on Albert but walks into a Big Boot. Al Snow dumps Test, Albert slams Snow but Blackman causes Snow to fall on top as some more hijinks occur. Head Cheese beat on Albert and get some near-falls. Chester goes after Trish. Albert tags Test who kicks some ass and gets a slam on Snow for two. Double slam on Snow- Blackman saves. JR starts ranking on the match as Snow does an Asai moonsault on Albert. Demolition Decapitation to Test- Albert saves. Baldo Bomb to Snow and he gets clotheslined out. A pier-4 brawl continues as Cheesy goes after Trish.  Elbow off top to Blackman by Test.  Really boring and bad match. ¼* JR disses the match some more. Head Cheese beat up Cheesy.

Dudley Boyz v. Hardy Boyz v. Edge-n-Christian in a Triangle Ladder Match for the WWF Tag Titles

 

THE STORYLINE- Dudz were tag champs and they were having trouble deciding who the #1 contender was between E-n-C and Hardyz. Answer: This match

 

THE MATCH-Everyone brawls to start. Jeff gets corkcrew moonsault on Bubba but gets backdropped and Bubba bombed. Christian climbs- Matt saves. E-n-C beat on D-Von.  Everyone brawls- Bubba gets ladder in his face and Jeff does Poetry in Morion inro rhw ladder. Christian gets smacked with ladder. D-Von gets slammed on ladder. Everyone down except for Jeff and Jeff does Swanton onto a ladder cause D-Von moved. Bubba splashes the ladder onto Matt. Chrisian slams a ladder right on Jeff’s nuts. D-Von slams a ladder onto Edge. Everyone down but Bubba who puts a ladder on his neck and whacks everyone with it. E-n-C dropkick the ladder onto him. Flapjack onto the ladder delivered to D-Von. Christian dives off ladder onto Matt and Bubba. Jeff Hardy climbs up the ladder but gets speared by Edge. He was only on middle rung. Matt does an awesome powerbomb to Edge. Matt climbs- D-Von saves. D-Von gets whacked with ladder. Christian and Bubba climb- Christian gets Diamond Cuttered off. Hardyz do splash/legdrop off ladder. Jeff gets chucked out. E-n-C double suplex D-Von off top of the ladder as Bubba Ray gets rammed into steel steps. E-n-C and Hardyz climb- facebuster and neckbreaker and all fall down. Dudleyz come in and all six climb. Christian and Jeff fall out Matt and Edge get crotched leaving Dudz left. Dudz whack people with ladders and hit 3-D on Edge. Dudleyz go for tables. Dudelyz put two ladders next to each other and put a table on top which is bitching cool. Hardyz come back but Dudz take them out. Matt chucks Bubba out and gets rammed into ring post. Bubba powerbombs Matt through a table and D-Von misses a splash and goes through a table. Jeff does running the rail thing and meets a ladder. Bubba sets up a ladder in the entranceway and a table. Bubba pulls Jeff and beats on him but Christian nails Bubba with ringbell and gets taken out. Bubba is laid out on a table and Jeff does a Swanton off the ladder to a huge pop and HOLY SHIT chant. HOLY SHIT! Back in- D-Von gets Twist of Fate and climbs with Christian. Matt goes for belt but falls and goes crashing through a table. E-n-C win tag titles. ****3/4 The match that begat the TLCs. A couple of eh spots means I wont give it *****, especially the length. By TLC I they’d have all the kinks worked out.

The Kat (w/Mae) v. Terri Runnells (w/Moolah) in a catfight with battle royal rules

 

THE STORYLINE- Yeah whatever.

 

THE MATCH-Val is special guest ref. Val does his usual spiel. Terri takes her down and kisses Val. Kat tosses Terri but Val is distracted by Mae. Mae tounges Val as Kat tosses Terri again. Moolah tosses Kat out and Terri wins. DUD Mae nails both and hits the broncobuster and Kat rips the clothes off of Terri.

 

WHERE ARE THEY NOW- out of WWF, in WWF

 

Ad for X-7 in the Astrodome. JR and King discuss. Radicalz (w/o Benoit) share a moment. Eddy is gonna bust out the Lateeeeno Heat. Chyna-n-2 Cool are disgusted.

 

Too Cool and Chyna v. Radicalz

 

THE STORYLINE- The Radicalz had been feuding with Too Cool and Eddy was acting like a dickheaded fuck toward Chyna.

 

THE MATCH-Eddy winks at Chyna. Eddy and Scotty start. Eddy takes control but walks into monkeyflip and tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Scotty dances and tags Chyna who runs to Dean. Chyna kicks his ass and tags GMS. Double suplex to Dean and Chyna-n-GMS bust a move. GMS dances and slams Dean who tags Eddy. Backbreaker by GMS. He goes for Hip Hop Drop but Saturn pushes him off. GMS becomes face-in-peril as Radicalz kick his ass. Saturn even puts on his headgear. Eddy puts his head down early and tags Scotty who gets stun gunned. Eddy-n-Chyna stare down. S2H becomes face-in-peril as Eddy kicks his ass. Eddy runs over and beats on Chyna allowing S2H the chance to attack and Eddy gets suplexed on the outside by GMS. A huge brawl erupts and S2H hits a double worm on Dean and Saturn. Eddy runs and grabs the ref for protection as the Radicalz kick S2H’s ass on the outside. Chyna goes after Eddy but ref stops her. Eddy beats on S2H who walks into superkick by Saturn. Flying elbow by Saturn and he tags Eddy who gets crotched on top. S2H gets superplex. Hot tag Chyna- Eddy runs. Chyna takes out Dean-n-Saturn. Handspring elbow to both and a double ballshot but Eddy attacks her.Chyna reverses a powerbomb and powerbombs him as her pants fall down. She grabs Eddy’s nuts and press slams him. Sleeper by Chyna and she takes him down for the win. Not bad match- got the crowd into it. **3/4

 

WHERE ARE THEY NOW- Chyna, GMS and Eddy are out of WWF. Dean is retired. Saturn and S2H- still kicking around

 

Recap of people winning some contest to see Wrestlemania. Shane hypes up Show. Earlier tonight Angle beat up Bob Backlund for giving him his title match. Angle talks to some guard and asks for extra security for his title win.

 

Kurt Angle v. Chris Jericho v. Chris Benoit in a two fall match for the Intercontinental and European Titles

 

THE STORYLINE- Angle had won the I-C title from Y2J and had Backlund be his manager and help him out. Backlund ended up wanting to tough him up and made this match.

 

THE MATCH-Y2J comes out, rambles on and makes fun of Kirk Angel and Mr. Roboto. Benoit takes out Angle to start. Y2J beats on both. 3-way brawling. King talks about a conspiracy against Angle. Crowd is dead. Y2J and Benoit go with Jericho winning. Jericho and Angle go. Benoit blocks a dropkick by Jericho onto Angle and Benoit beats on Angle, but Benoit dropkicks them both. Jericho with a baseball slide to Benoit, but Angle throws Jericho into ring steps. Benoit breaks up a pin attempt, Jericho breaks up a Benoit pin attempt. Y2J and Benoit have a chop war and Jericho decides to work over Angle. Y2J goes to the top, Benoit pushes him off and he goes FACE FIRST into the announce table. HOLY SHIT! Benoit works over Angle and gets a two count. Jericho comes back and beats on Kurt. Benoit breaks up a Jericho pin attempt. Benoit pins Jericho but Angle saves. Kurt gets two on a suplex. Bulldog by Y2J gets two. Benoit and Jericho go at it. 3-way brawl and Jericho breaks up Angle’s pin attempt. Jericho camel clutches Benoit, Angle saves. Standing suplex by Jericho, but Benoit sneaks in and gets a two count. Crowd is dead. Jericho and Angle go and Angle gets two on a suplex. Benoit rolls up Jericho. Angle saves. CFCW by Angle on Jericho, Benoit saves. Benoit throws Angle into the front row and hits the diving headbutt on Jericho for the IC Title.

 

FALL 2-Benoit covers him again, Angle saves. Angle works over Benoit. Jericho crotches Angle. Jericho is about to suplex Angle, but Benoit goes up to the top and suplexes Jericho. Cool spot. Benoit plays possum as Angle attempts a moonsault but Benoit moves. Their both down and Angle covers Benoit. Jericho then covers Angle. Walls of Jericho on Angle, Benoit saves. 3-way brawl, Jericho powerbombs and then super-bombs Angle. Benoit saves and hitd three suplexes, Angle saves. Benoit bridges Angle, Tim White counts even though Angle’s shoulders weren’t down. Ref bump, crossface by Benoit onto Jericho. Benoit yells at ref, allowing Jericho to get Walls on Benoit. Angle nails Y2J with belt, Angle covers, Benoit saves. King insults Edmonton. Headbutt time for Angle, but Angle moves. Lionsault by Y2J onto Benoit for the Euro Title. Angle lost both belts without being pinned.  Disappointing but still good match.***1/2

X-Pac and Road Dogg (w/Tori) v. Kane and Rikishi (w/Paul Bearer)

 

THE STORYLINE- This is the blowoff to the Kane-X-Pac feud that’s been brewing since October and has had multiple twists and turns. They were supposed to have some sort of exploding match but the authorities wouldn’t allow it so we have this match instead.

 

THE MATCH-Dogg does his spiel. Tori slaps Bearer. DX attacks Rikishi- Kane grabs Tori- X-Pac saves. Road Dogg gets stinkyface and Tori walks into Rikishi. X-Pac pulls her out before she can get stinkyfaced. DX bails but Kane follows and kicks X-Pac’s ass. X-Pac hits a spinkick on Rikishi and kicks away. Broncobuster to Rikishi. Tag Road Dogg who does Road Dogg punches and shake rattle-n-kneedrop for two. Tag X-Pac. X-Pac kicks away but Rikishi drops him and tags Kane. Kane cleans house and X-Pac bails out of Rikishi. Paul Bearer throws Tori in and she gets stinkyfaced. X-Pac gets tombstoned for the win and blowoff. This was just to have fun and get the crowd excited. * Too Cool come out and the San Diego Chicken come out. (see WMXV) Too Cool, Rikishi and the Chicken dance. Kane goes for the Chicken and chokes him but the real Pete Rose comes out with a bat. Rikishi stops him and he gets chokeslammed and stinkyfaced.

Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley) v. The Rock (w/Vince McMahon) v. The Big Show (w/Shane McMahon) v. Mick Foley (w/Linda McMahon) in a Fatal Four Way Match for the WWF Title

 

THE STORYLINE- In January the Rock won the Royal Rumble giving him this shot. But- it was revealed when he went to eliminate Big Show his feet touched the floor before Show’s. At No Way Out Triple H finally ended his feud with Cactus Jack by crushing his dream and ending his career in a HIAC match. That same show Shane O’Mac came back and helped Big Show defeat Rock making Big Show the #1 contender for Wrestlemania. This of course pissed off Rock but thanks to a returning Vinnie Mac’s interference- Rock beat the Big Show and the event was now a three way dance. BUT WAIT! Linda McMahon announced that Mick Foley should be in the main event as well. So we now have a fatal four-way elimination match with a McMahon in every corner.

 

THE MATCH-They all brawl. Show-Rock, Foley-HHH. Foley does super punches to HHH and running knee. Big Show beats on everyone. Big Show falls on Mick (see last year) Rock hammers at away Big Show but gets sidewalked slam. Chokeslam HHH- Foley saves with low blow. All three hammer at Show- Show falls. They all put the boots to him but soon HHH and Foley go. Cactus Clothesline to HHH and they brawl on the outside as Rock-Show go on outside. Shane grabs Rock’s leg’s and gets ducked. Foley chairs Show who walks into a Rock Bottomed and is pinned. Down to three. HHH tries to reason with both guys but Rock-n-Sock Connection reunite and kick HHH’s ass. Rock goes to hit HHH with a ring bell but he ducks and hits Foley. HHH clotheslines Rock and throws him into steps. Mick Foley gets barbed wire but a lowblow stops Foley from using it on HHH. HHH hits him with barb wire but Rock rejoins in and kicks his ass. Double-arm ddt and Mr. Socko makes an appearance. Mandible Claw to HHH and Rock lays him out with belt. Rock goes for People’s Elbow and Foley claws him. HHH lowblows both. Rock and HHH slug it out and Rock gets clothesline but Foley clotheslines him for two. Foley and Rock brawl and Mick gets double arm DDT for two. Mixk runs at Rock with a chair and gets booted and Rock gets layin’ the smackdown DDT. HHH saves??? HHH takes Rock out and the Game-n-Sock connection form. Kneelift-2. Double suplex and a knee to the face gets two. Game-n-Sock continue to kick Rock’s ass but Foley gets sent to the steps. Rock and HHH brawl and Foley lays Rock out with steps. They lay Rock out on the announce table but Foley misses cause he’s a fat-ass. HHH jumps on the table and him and Rock brawl. Back in- Pedigree on Foley…gets two. Foley gets chaired in the head and Pedigreed on the chair and Foley’s career is over. Down to Rock-HHH. Foley comes back and smokes HHH with barb wire to end his career on a high note to a big pop. Rock runs in and covers for two.  Rock and HHH slug it out- Rock wins. Rock clotheslines him out and they brawl up the entranceway. HHH gets suplexed on concrete and Rock kicks his ass. HHH’s chair meets Rock’s steps- the chair wins and lays out Rock. HHH does a piledriver on the steps. JR wants the match to be stopped. HHH covers for only two. Slugfest- HHH blocks Rock Bottom, Rock blocks Pedigree by sending him flying outside. They brawl on the outside and into the crowd. HHH wins but Rock gets a takedown on the outside and Rock suplexes him through the announce table. HHH does a drop toehold on the steps. Vince beats up HHH. Shane save and they brawl. Shane hits him with monitor. Vince rises and beats up Shane but gets lowblowed. Shane smacks him with chair, Vince blades. Rock and HHH slug it out and Rock lays the smackdown and gets DDT for two. Tilt-a-whirl slam gets two. Facebuster by HHH and he hits him with the barb wire. Rock slingshots HHH into Shane and gets the Rock Bottom- both men out. Vince comes back, punches Shane and then turns on Rock by hitting him with steel chair. It only gets two. Vince chairs a bleeding Rock for three. ***1/4 Fuck the McMahons. Crowd is PISSED and throws stuff. Vince and Steph hug. Rock runs in- Rock Bottom Shane, Rock Bottom Vince. Steph gets in his face and slaps him. Rock Bottom, People’s Elbow to Stephanie.  The match was pretty good but the overbooking killed it.

 

WHERE ARE THEY NOW- #1 contender, main eventing Wrestlemania, doing nothing, retired

 

The Bottom Line- A lot of people hate this show but it’s a pretty fun show. Sure the ending sucks turds and there’s some crap but there’s some good stuff here. I’ve also heard the DVD kicks ass so check it out.
