Which WWF star got blackballed for stealing?

Dear Wrestling Fans,

I recently read Roddy Piper's new book. In one of the chapters, Piper protects the name of a wrestler that got blackballed from the federation and all the other wrestling federations on the planet. Piper's story was the wrestler was stealing money out of the WWF wrestlers gym bags during their wrestling matches! Gorilla Monson was the one who caught the wrestler by putting white powder on the twenty dollar bills that he put in his gym bag. Moonson noticed the white powder on the wrestler's hand and that wrestler was fired from the WWF. My guess on who this wrestler is is either one of the Wild Samons or one of the Moondogs. The Moondogs were always getting replaced so that's my take on it but I'm less than 50% sure on this. The midget wrestlers are also top suspects because the midgets always disappeared left and right in the 80's! Can anyone clear this Roddy Piper story up with me? Peace out and have a nice day :)

sincerely,

Chickie Singer

Heard it might have been Crpl. Kirschner.

No he was blackballed for the stupid stunt he pulled on another wrestler over in Japan a few years back. Mick Foley discusses it in his first book.

1) He was a complete ass and tried to destroy Alex Wright's credibility in a match at Superbrawl V. He was fired right after the show and blackballed from the Big 3 for his unprofessional behaviour.

2) Forget.

3) Trolling in the WWF, Old School & Movie folder.

Answer to question #2: I'd have to grab Foley's book for the fully accurate story, but the short version is he hurt a guy in Japan in a bed of nails match by fucking up a legdrop. Instead of it being flush with the nail board being flat, it went in at an angle, which does more damage. Then he power bombed the same guy in the next spot and again fucked it up badly. He was using the Leatherface gimmick that night.

I'm talking about what sent Crpl. Kirshner to Japan in the first place. He was psuedo-mid card in 86 and then - BAM - gone.

As far as Roma ... I didn't think Alex Wright even had credibility at that time! (not sure if he does now either) As I remember, that wasn't the best match ever ... I just placed the blame on Wright.

Kirschner purposely was shooting on that guy in the bed of nails match.

In Foley's book he said Kirschner got pissed when the guy screwed up and decided to drive the nails deep into the guy.

The blame for that match is soley Roma's, as he was the one calling it. He was totally unwilling to give Wright anything.

It was a powerbomb not a leg drop on the nails.

There was a legdrop someplace because Foley was talking about how Kirschner's partner tried to hold the board flat over the opponent's head and couldn't quite do it.

What happened was, he ripped a piece of the nailboard off, and gave it to his partner to hold onto the guy's neck while he legdropped it.

His partner tried to hold it straight, but it didn't work out too well, as one would expect.

There was a powerbomb in there as well, though I can't exactly recall if it was before or after the legdrop.

(And yes, I've read that book too many friggin' times.)
