I enjoy making compilation tapes of certain wrestlers and/or time frames, so why not these two. They have delivered great matches one after another, not only on Pay Per View, but televison matches as well. Thinking quickly, let's see what could go on it: Wrestlemania X7 04-01-01 Backlash (Ultimate Submission Match) 04-29-01 Judgement Day (2/3 Falls Match) 05-20-01 RAW is War (Cage Match) 06-11-01 Unforgiven 09-22-02 Royal Rumble 01-19-03 SmackDown! 03-06-02 what else? anything else? *BTW, that match from SmackDown! this past week is in the lead for the Match of the Week in my thread over in the Wrestling Polls and Lists section, check it out if you already havent. Kurt Angle Mark Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 Excluding the England PPVs, I have every match that involved Angle and Benoit, in one form or another, except for one. That one being Stone Cold and The Rock vs. Angle and Benoit from the 2/19/01 Raw, because we didn't get the TNN feed that day. I have also written down every Raw and Smackdown card from 2000-present so I could check and list every one of the matches that had Angle and Benoit in them.

The crowd shitted on it right away, with the "boring" and "this match sucks" chants, so Booker and Buff responded with an EXCRUCIATINGLY boring chinlockery obsessed match that was SO FUCKING BAD that whent eh top two heels in the company (Angle and Austin) ran in (Which I still believe was a mercy kill) they GOT CHEERED. In that match, they ruined everything.
Guest ViciousFish Posted February 9, 2003 Report Posted February 9, 2003 It was one of the worst matches I myself have ever seen. Buff Bagwell not only dropped the ball he kicked is to Brazil. He was uninspired and sloppy. I'm pretty sure it was the main contributer to his being fired. That and having his mommy complain about the fact he wasn't flying first class or some crap like that.

Guest goar Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 I was there and I have never seen a crowd so disinterested in anything. There were people getting up to leave almost as soon as it began. Raven and Jerry Lynn against Kaientai had a better reaction. I remember when we were leaving this guy screaming in the parking lot, "the historic arrival of WCW and we get that shit? History in the making? Buff Bagwell?" It was exactly what I was thinking.
