LaParkaYourCar Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 Choken man chill out. There's no reason to be acting like that.
Guest Mole Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 I remember reading something that Scott Keith once wrote about this subject. Bobo is completly right about what he is talking about. We have NO idea who the main eventers are going to be in 2005. Look at WM 12, who would of thought that HBK and Hart would be main eventing, when they were in the tag division a few years prior? However, we can still predict who we think is going to be ME. I am going for Brock, Cena, Matt Hardy, Triple-Juice, Angle and Shelton.
Guest geniusMoment Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 You guys actually think there will be a WWE in 2005. I am not being sarcastic in saying I feel that if WWE makes it to 2005 they will be on their last legs.
Guest deadbeater Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 For all we know, WWE could become ECW.
Guest AndrewTS Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Shelton Benjamim: The best pure athlete possibly ever to enter WWE *Gasp* Even more so than Billy Gunn, who JR proclaimed up and down as being that? And sorry--Orton sucks the cock. I can't see him improving that much in only 2 years.

And sorry--Orton sucks the cock. I can't see him improving that much in only 2 years. Shelton Benjamin is much more skilled than Billy Gunn was though. Faster in the ring, wrestles well too, and knows plenty of submissions. And you know he'll never be stuck in the same kind of gimmicks that Mr Ass was... don't compare them. And Orton's sucking or not sucking is a matter of perspective. I enjoy his matches and there are a few others that do as well. His turning heel couldn't have harmed him any either.
Guest shlidgn90 Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 i hate to say this but the next huge star will be bob sapp. sapp will be the wwe's future and i think 2005's mania main event will be sapp vs. lesnar
Guest Austin3164life Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Kurt Angle Brock Lesnar Chris Benoit Chris Jericho
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Who thought in 2000, that Brock Lesnar, a OVW boy would be Headlining Mania? Who thought in 1997, that Rocky and HHH, Mankind and WCW's Giant at WM2000? Who thought in 1996 Austin would main event? Who thought that in 1991, Bret Hart and HBK would main event in 1995? In '96? Oh you KNEW Austin was going to Main Event... did you miss Austin/Bret? In '91? Please, you must have missed Mr. Perfect/ Bret Hart because after that, you KNOW Bret's going to ME sometime. HBK... I'll give you that nobody knew of him in '91, but if we're predicting 2 years ahead of time, in '93 you could see HBK was headed somewhere... that had more to do with Hogan on the leave, but you could tell HBK would main at some point. In '97? The Rock was da man. I didnt think he'd Main Event by '98, but you had to know he was headin somewhere Theres *some* things you can predict. Its the HHH, Mankind, WCW's Giant, Brock Lesnar.... those guys you cant, but *some* guys you can. Or at least make an educated guess that they could.

I didnt think he'd Main Event by '98, but you had to know he was headin somewhere I hope you are referring to Rock's NOD heel persona in Nov-Dec 97, because the Blue Chipper would have gone in one direction only. Straight down the toilet.
Guest The Son of Sting Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Matt Hardy Bob sapp Lesner Angle HHH Benjamin
Guest Brian Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 If you were in the know back then, you'd think HHH was going to make it sooner then two years by trading wins with his buddies. Heck, I though the early DX thing would push him through the roof, by feuding with HBK
