Ah Christ! That How To Lose a Guy Movie just looks too damn annoying to be any kind of funny...Kate Hudsen just gives me the "just smack her" vibe. Gee the country needed this, what's it been? A Month since a romantic comedy came out?

Shocked that FD 2 is still on the list...I'd think after people heard how bad it was no one would see it.

Fuckin Kangaroo...

And there's LOTR hanging on by a thread...out of the top 10 next week.

Damn, if Kangaroo Jack makes $75M+ I will shake my head.

Daredevil's gonna do gangbusters next weekend.

Just for the heck of it...here's the #11 and #12 movies

11 Catch Me If You Can $3,100,000/$156,500,000

12 About Schmidt $3,100,000/$48,566,000

A little suprised Confessions of a Dangerous Mind didn't stick around another week.

Long Gone:

Gang of New York

Just Married

A Guy Thing

Antwon Fisher

You see how NOTHING opens next week to challenge Dare Devil.

Damn, I can't believe a shitty romantic comedy beat out Shanghai Knights, which IMO was an amazing movie.

Could go as high as $60 million...I wouldn't be suprised if it gets that high

Shanghai Knights kicked so many different types of ass...I mean, I think it was better than the original.

Too bad it was beaten by Kate Hudson...who is still living off of her Almost Famous..uhm fame...that nameless bastard who followed everyone along carried that damned movie.

But yeah, any movie that reminds me of A Clockwork Orange deserves to be number one.

No way...BTW...Why such an early release for a big Summerlike blockbuster? Just to stand out a little more?

Because if FOX had released daredevil this summer, they'd be competing with their other comic book movie: X2

Well...no movies with a chance of making any money in the first place opens against it. Except JB2, which I've seen so little press for.

I kinda have a bad feeling that Daredevil isn't going to be as huge as people think. It doesn't seem to have much hype around it outside from the internet and the diehard comic book fans. There is lots of publicity and stuff but it doesn't seem to be really clicking with the masses. I don't think it'll bomb but I don't know if it's gonna do great. The director says that they're just hoping for a Blade type box office which is something I probably expect. You just don't hear a lot of people getting excited over this like with Spiderman and X-Men and stuff like that. There seems to be more excitement around the Hulk right now than Daredevil and that one is still months away. I'd guess 70-80 for it's total run, not for it's first week. Hope I'm wrong. It sounds really great so far. Haven't seen a bad word about it yet.

I just can't believe that it's almost time to start getting excited for another summer movie season already. It seems to keep getting earlier and earlier every year.

I'm gonna go a little conservative and say $55 mil for Daredevil this weekend. It opens really wide and even has a 9pm thursday sneak opening in over 2,000 screens so it could do big. Of course I don't expect it to do Spider-Man numbers but I believe it'll surely go over $120. The movie's budget was about $70 mil so anything more than that is good business.

And also, all three reviews I've checked gave props to the movie, so it looks promising. We'll see next week.

I expect it to do 45-55 and with Word of Mouth buzz...It will peak at $175.

Daredevil will do 65 million

It's the first big "must see" type of movie since LOTR: The Two Towers and will do great business because of this. All of the guys are hungry for another big "guy movie" and will flock to see Daredevil.

How To Lose a Guy In Ten Days looks like a decent romantic comedy so i have no big problems. It's not a movie I'd actually pay to see, but it's not offensive looking either.

I'd go see Shaghai Knights if Jackie Chan wasn't in it. I like Owen Wilson, but I just don't care for Jackie Chan movies.
