Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Couple of things. I went to see Death to Smoochy. Robin Williams shouldn't be on this list. Sure its not up to par with the other movies he did (Insomnia and 1 Hour Photo) but still.. Mr. Deeds was a good movie, but the only reason the critics hated it was because they took the Classic movie and pissed all over it. I for one haven't even seen the original and I really doubt that even 5% of the target audience of an Adam Sandler movie did either. It is good to see that they recoginized that Brittney has no acting talent what so ever. The Star Wars thing is funny actually...
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Why would tehy nominate Murphy & De Niro for Showtime. That was damn entertaining movie and they had decent chemistry.
Guest Dangerous A Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 With the nom for AOTC, the Razzies are now pure shit to me. They are just going for noteriety now by coming after good/decent films that maybe didn't live up to hype. Just because a film didn't live up to the hype doesn't put it in a worse of the year category. Complete bullshit,IMO.

I agree. Showtime wasn't exactly original, but Murphy & DeNiro worked well together, and there was nothing too wrong with it. However, they only got nominated so they could have Murphy nominated for three roles (the did this in both Worst Actor and Worst Couple). I didn't see I Spy or Pluto Nash, but I haven't heard good things about them.
Guest Retro Rob Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 FYI, McGreggor was the lead in Episode 2.
