- Mike Myers

- Jan Hooks

- Ana Gasteyer

I feel bad for not having more women on here...

*note: i really don't find any of the current cast members funny enough to make the top 10.

*note: although the early 90s cast and the 70s cast got the same amount of entries, the 70s SNL was better overall (mostly thanks to the writing).

Hey, don't discount the amazing properties of whatever drugs the cast was using as well... :P

Seeing Dana Carvey on everyone's list reminds me just how much I hate that unfunny little feminine man.

In no order.

Chevey Chase

Phil Hartman

Daryl Hammond...everything the guy does is funny

Dana Carvey

Dan Aykroyd

Eddie Murphy

Mike Myers

Will Ferrell

I only found 8 I marked out big for.

Hate to sound like an ass...but people give way too much credit to the dead, and the first cast, sorry, just the way I feel.

And the least funny? Jimmy Fallon

Which deceased cast members dont you like YNA?

I've always been a Phil Hartman fan- the guy helped carry the show and was great in almost every role he did

Steve has hosted 13 times- John Goodman has 12 but I think Goodman has more overall appearances.

Phil Hartman - did everything well but Frankenstein and the cook stand out as great recurring characters

Mike Myers - Wayne World and Sprockets

Dana Carvey - Garth and President Bush

Dan Aykroyd - the toy sales man and the weekend news

Norm McDonald his Bob Dole and the Weekend News were always funny and as Burt Reyolds in Celebrity Jeoparody.

Eddie Murphy - Gumby Damn It, Mr Rogers, Stevie Wonder

Darrell Hammond - the Presidental Debates

Will Ferral - cheerleader and politicians and Celebrity Jeoparody.

Chris Farely - as the guy who lives in a van DOWN by THE River! and general fat guy funny material.

Jane Curtain - the work with Dan Aykroyd on the weekend news and as a reporter opposite Dan's halloween costume/toy sales man were classic.

I had to pick Dennis Miller simply because he encouraged education.

*Dennis Miller tells a joke*

"...I know that's funny ... I just don't know why ... I have to go read 5 books to understand the pun."

Molly Shannon is average at best, yet all of her characters resembled that middle aged woman who likes to scratch walk and kick. Not 10 ten material but between Garfalfo (good) and Calghorn (bad).

I had Molly Shannon on my worst list. I despise her. If murder was made legal tomorrow she would be on my list somewhere between X-Pac and Richie Sexon of the Milwaukee Brewers. I never find her funny and agree with Raz that just about everyone of her characters comes across as the same "crazy lady." She mistakes acting like a retarded dumbass for being funny. On the flipside, Kattan makes the same mistake.

I agree with Deacon but on a lesser extent.

She was good till 1998 and then just lost all semblance of professionalism.

And Janeane Garafalo was jusr awful on SNL. What a cunt bitch
