Guest Downhome Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 I just went into Wal-Mart, and they had tons of them. For $10 you get the bonus disk, and the money goes towards the purchase of the new Zelda game coming out soon. I had already pre-ordered it at Software Etc... but I decided just to go ahead and buy it today when I saw it. For $10, you can't beat it. I'm about to play it now, and I can't wait, woohoo! Has anyone else bought it yet? Even if you don't want the new Zelda game, you can still go to Wal-Mart and buy this bonus disk, two games in one, for only $10. From where I sit, that can't be beat! Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest EQ Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Damn... I just called the walmart by me and they don't have them!
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 I heard some places are selling the bonus disc for $70. I reserved it, but if what they told me stands, I won't be getting the disc until March 24th. But, my friend talked to an employee of my local Funcoland, and he said that the discs are being handed out next week. So, I will be playing (hopefully) OOT by next week.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 My EB (where I reserved Wind Walker) doesn't have them yet, but should by this Friday.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Eh I just went ahead and ordered it off Amazon with Wind Walker. I'll be busy until it comes out anyway. Come on Generals get released already!!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 I decided not to pay the extra $5 to get the bonus disk shipped a month early from Ebgames.com. I suppose it was the stupid idea, but I have OoT for the N64 if I wanna play it now and TMQ is just a rehash with different item and boss locations. I really can't wait for WW.
Guest eiker_ir Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 Downhome, does the game has improved graphics or anything new? or is it a straight port of the N64 game (not that there's anything wrong with that, this is one of my favorite games of all time) ?
Guest Mattdotcom Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 I can field this one... The disk features two versions of the game: -A straight-up port of the N64 version. -Ura-Zelda, the until now Japanese version for the 64DD with enemies and items in new locations, etc.

Nothing too major, but you can tell a difference in between this and the N64 version. The other game is called, Master's Quest I believe, and it's just like you said, the same game with enemies and items in different places, but also puzzles are different, and the game is harder.
Guest teke184 Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 I went to Target and got it fot $0.01... the guy behind the register thought they were demo discs.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 ^^^WHAT! Man, you are the luckiest man right now. Wait until the Target staff realize the blunder one of their employees made....

Right, right. Speaking of harder, I heard the Water Temple is even harder in Master Quest (which is called Ura-Zelda in Japan). Harder Water Temple=my own personal Water Temple, namely when I piss myself in fear of that bastard.
