Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I have seen that there were 2 idiots that attempted to be jackasses in the WWE folder when everyone was expressing their remorse for the passing of Curt Hennig. I felt that they should've been banned, especially because of their spite towards a man who just died and his many fans. I thought what if HHH up and died tommorrow, or even 6 months from now, what the feeling would be on this board. I can't speak for everyone, but I get the feeling that there would be a lot more than 2 people who would have just as vile things to say about HHH's death than what Koppo Keith had to say about Hennig. Would those people also get banned or does HHHate take a step above decency when it comes to posting here at TSM? Is there a HHHate bias here that goes above and beyond insulting a man's own death? Is it ok to express joy at the death of a person who has an overwhelming hate following? Would it be ok to make fun of HHH dying here on this board because of the HHHate bias? Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 11, 2003 What the fuck was the point of this thread? You're just trying to throw more peppers into the gumbo when there doesn't need to be.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted February 11, 2003 It's a valid question. I think it's clear a lot of people here would make light of HHH's death were it to happen, and I don't think they should.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted February 11, 2003 It's a question that I felt should be asked in regards to bias when it comes to death of people. I realize the timing of it sucks, but I also felt it's a question that should be asked of this message board community. Maybe I shouldn't have used HHH as an example and just thrown a broader speculation out there, but I also feel this should be addressed here.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 11, 2003 What point is Dangerous A trying to make? He's basically just trying to start a big controversy when there doesn't need to be. Those two guys were fucktards and they got banned. Can't we just move on and not have to think of another wrestler leaving us?
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Ok, bob, I see your point. By the way, Hennig's name is spelled wrong in your memorial banner.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I didn't make the banner- I borrowed it from someone else
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I'd feel bad at the death of anyone. But I can't lie and say I wouldn't enjoy Monday Night's more. So I'd pretty much just stay out of the topic.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I don't see a problem with this thread. The problem with Koppo Keith was flame-baiting. He had no intention of actually making a serious post. Ahmed was banned for fighting with the mods. It didn't have anything to do with Hennig. It turns out he was Smarkzone anyways, so he never should have been here in the first place. As for the HHH question, it depends on the post. Bryan's response is acceptable, but if somebody started mocking his death, I would have problems with it. Guest caboose Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I'm not going to lie and say I'd be sad to see Triple H go, but I sure as hell wouldn't be happy he's dead.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I think most people will agree that we'd be happy if HHH was off tv. Which has nothing to do with his health so much as his presence.
Guest TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Bob, you've been on your rag for the past 2 weeks, get over yourself. You are turning into the biggest pussy bitch whiner on this boad, so grow the fuck up. This thread reminds me of an old topic at the ezboard smarks days when the same question was asked about Vince McMahon. Sadly, many said they'd be happy when Vince dies. If ANYONE says that about Triple H, they have no humanity. If characters in wrestling brings out hatred to the point of wishing death, than the person is a complete waste of all of our time. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Banky- Is this your permanent name now? I remember that thread though- It was pretty disgusting
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Oh and Banky- Do you ever get tired of second guessing everything I say? Everytime I say something negative about something you're like: OMG SHUT UP STOP WHINING ON THE RAG! This is the same guy who won't stop shutting up about his nWo gimmick post getting banned and who has had his fair share of criticism of things in the past. I didn't think it was approiate for Dangerous A to start his thread and I let him know it. Just because I didn't like all your UGS shilling and didn't like this thread you get all uppity about me and stuff. Maybe you should get off the rag Banky. Guest DrTom Report post Posted February 11, 2003 The thing is, if someone really doesn't give a shit that Wrestler A died, and they're not flame-baiting, they should be allowed to say that. It might not be a popular opinion, but it's an opinion some people may legitimately have. The trouble comes in telling the difference between someone expressing their opinion and someone flame-baiting and trolling for the answers they know they'll get. LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I don't want HHH to die, but a career ending injury would probably make my day. His legs are so bad now he probably won't have much left anyway.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Damn, I just now found out he died. I missed the little "tribute" on Raw, or whatever they did. This has me down, since I always liked seeing the guy in the ring. Pretty much how I felt about Bulldog, too. The thing is, people die, and nothing will change that, so I don't tend to let it linger like some folks do. Some people die young, some don't. Hennig was one who died young. Besides, I wouldn't feel right grieving, to an extent, over someone I never knew. If HHH died in his sleep tonight, as shitty as it sounds, half of this board would probably shoot off fucking fireworks, and a few others would pretend to be sad. Personally, I'd look at like I look at any other wrestler dying.

Guest TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Oh and Barron, if you are going to pay someone respect, atleast spell their name right. If you stole the banner from someone, don't be lazy, and go find another one. Its pointless and disrespectful to mispell the persons last name you are paying tribute to. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Oh and Banky, I am getting another banner done because his name was spelled wrong. It's getting made at the moment
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Quit calling him Banky like you're some kind of genius for figuring out who he is. And before you attack me, think better of it, and I defended you a few posts up.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted February 11, 2003 I think he's just calling him Banky because it's easier to type than 'TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell' or an acronym of it.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted February 11, 2003 In many of those responses, it was clear to whom he was talking without any identification.
Guest TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Who's Banky?
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted February 12, 2003 TC is right- it was easier then typing out Cynicalhate etc. A lot of times when replying to someone I'll put their name at the top and then respond. I do this a lot with my SNL review threads
Guest TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell Report post Posted February 12, 2003 I am "TheHateMonger" - thats the abbreviation.
