A review of last weeks metal

Saturns music kicks in as metal starts off.

Saturn Versus Paul London

Saturn looks like a walking art gallery, They lock up to start London gains the advantage with 2 arm drags London takes a real advantage to start has he drops kick Saturn out of the ring.  London is now a hero to all the Jobbers Saturn has stiffed.  But alas Saturn hits a leg sweep but sadly, no kronas so no total elimination.   Saturn hits a belly to belly and London is being put in his place now.  Saturn whips London into the ropes but, he caught off guard and London gets a 2 off a sunset flip.  Saturn takes the advantage again taking London down again, Saturn goes up top and ooh yeah it the top rope elbow.  But London uses the power of the warrior to kick out at two.  Satun goes up top again but London drop kicks him in mid air and Saturn is lower carder in peril as London hits a hurricanrana but he not done yet he breaks out the lucha and spring board moonsault gets 2 as the crowd begin to get into the match.  London goes up top and goes for a Shooting Star press but he misses, dam!  Dragon suplex by Saturn knocks London out of his boots.  And a DVD finishes it.

Winner Saturn

><> ><> ><> That was great London looks good maybe he’ll get a development deal or he’ll go back to working Indies knowing that for 5 minutes he was king of metal.

Wrestlemainia stuff 4 matches 4 hours wow iron man matches all round imagine Hogan going for an hour with his move set.  I mean he’ll be able to do one move every twenty minutes.

Raw highlights

Crash versus Eddie Craven

Crash comes out and does the crash strut what is it with his walk to the ring?  He gets in the ring and stares at the celin seems Saturn goofiness has rubbed onto Crash. Well after a few seconds of these hijinks, the ref tells crash that you’re supposed to beat up the jobber.  Which crash obliges and takes the early advantage.  But Craven decides he wants some offence, so Crash takes a beating for a while, Crash is whipped into the ropes Craven ducks down but crash stands next to him and ducks down.  Craven looks over and crash waves.  Well that was certainly unique is all I’ve got to say about that.  Craven throws crash into the ring post meaning that he now as a reason to work his arm which he does.  While the commentators talk about Abe Lincoln wrestling, I’m not making that up they are talking about Abe Lincoln wrestling.  Anyway after that revelation of American History Crash hits a Dudley dog  and get the three count.

Winner Crash

><> not bad but only one fishy for that match

More raw highlights as the now beat Austin with their n.W.o Toolbox™ and hall throws a wrench in Austins works. (Oh the punnery)

We also see the Storm RVD match, which was good and I wish they would let Storm win.

Val Venis Versus Mike Anthony

Mike Anthony gets music…  But music won’t help him as Val beats on him in the early going.  Elbows by Val shades of the great Dusty Rhodes, Butterfly suplex but Val doesn’t cover he tries to whip Anthony into the ropes but he is reversed and powerslam by Anthony gets a 2 count.  The back is the point of working as Anthony applies a Steiner Recliner.  Val gets the advantage and hits a weak ass clothesline, but Anthony gets up and shows him how to  throw a clothesline.  Northern lights by Anthony gets another 2 but Val fights back with a shoulder tackle and Spinebuster.  Val applies what can only be described as a backwards figure four and Anthony taps out.  But Val won’t let go so they decide to end metal there.

Winner Val Venis

><>1/2 fishies was your average metal match.

Well overall, the better show than last week the London match was worth seeing.
