TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 On Piper's site there is a tribute video to Curt Hennig made by Piper. It's pretty good and a nice look back at Hennig. And yes, still more than the WWE has done to remember him. Only thing is you must have Windows Media Player 9 to view it. Piper's Tribute
Guest Shaneomac Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 That's a pretty cool video. I liked how there were a bunch of pictures of Curt with the Ravishing one Rick Rude.
cawthon777 Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 As a pop culture nut, I can't help but think of Star Trek II and Spock's death everytime I hear the bagpipe version of "Amazing Grace". McCoy: "He's really not dead ... as long as we remember him."
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted February 13, 2003 Author Report Posted February 13, 2003 Too bad they couldn't use any of his WWF footage but that is still more than the WWE's done to remember Curt.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 If Vince owns both the WCW and WWF/E footage, isn't it the same if they had used WWF footage?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted February 14, 2003 Author Report Posted February 14, 2003 No clue on that one. I assume so but it's Vince you never know.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 add Brian Pillman to the Fallen Heroes
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted February 14, 2003 Author Report Posted February 14, 2003 I would but it's impossible to find a decent pic of him.
Guest ShooterJay Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 ^anybody else notice how much Owen looks like Tazz in that picture?
Guest jessecartieri Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 Did he ask if Vince Russo killed him, LOL
Guest jessecartieri Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Too bad they couldn't use any of his WWF footage but that is still more than the WWE's done to remember Curt. If they killed him and had to have a good PR move, er, "moving tribute," they would do something.
