Is it me, or does "tear away" seem to be

Granted it fits the whole nWo gimmick right now, or many of the current heel personas (not to mention several face characters, especially The Rock) but it seems an odd song to mix in at the end of the Wrestlemania special when the show, not to mention the whole current "Desire" campaign has been set up to show how the wrestlers go out there and go through #### just to entertain the fans and put out a good show night after night.

 

Not to mention running it while showing footage of faces celebrating.

 

Don't get me wrong, the song is decent, though like "My Way" its getting too overplayed (frankly I rather hear Sinatra's "My Way" for last years show) but I don't think it FITS the current context of the WWF's campaign.

I think the WWF is using that song as some sort of theme for the split.

After seeing Tear Away played to the Jericho vs HHH footage last night, I think the song fit quite well.

But that doesnt mean that the song still doesnt suck, because it does.

It fit the main event in the way that it sums up Steph's character and her role in it.
