LaParkaYourCar Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 The picture on my monitor is warped. Not the screen or the monitor itself, but the picture. I've tried everything I can in the menu, but it doesn't help. The picture leans down and to the right. It starts half way across the screen. It just angles down all of the sudden causing pictures and other things on the screen to lean. It's getting quite annoying. I got this monitor for free from a friend. It's a ViewSonic A75f 17"
Guest MrRant Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 You had this problem with your TV too didn't you? Did you do the magazine under the house?
LaParkaYourCar Posted February 13, 2003 Author Report Posted February 13, 2003 Yeah on the TV I bought awhile back I had that problem, but I took it back. The TV I have now does not have that problem so I doubt it's anything else leaning. Not to mention the monitor itself is fine. I think the geometry on the monitor is just off to the point I can't fix it.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 Is your house near a large magnet or something that would cause interference? I find it funny that you had the same problem with your TV. Can't just be coincidence, can it?
LaParkaYourCar Posted February 13, 2003 Author Report Posted February 13, 2003 Not that I know of. The TV I use now is fine though.
Guest DrTom Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 Do you have something like an unshielded speaker near your monitor? They can play hell with the image. If you have a different monitor, hook it up without changing anything else and see if the same thing happens.
LaParkaYourCar Posted February 13, 2003 Author Report Posted February 13, 2003 The only other monitor I have got messed up from sitting out in my garage so it's hard to tell.
