Guest converge241 Report post Posted February 13, 2003 do "we" think this is pretty much a given? with Brown's TN hostory and their penchant for WWE stars cut loose Id love to see Waltman still there and see a rekindle of their feud 100 bucks says Russo books him in an angle with Killings right off the bat
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted February 13, 2003 He is still employed until next month I think, so I don't think he can show up until then. I would love to see him in TNA though.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 13, 2003 Yeah, the article I read said he would be in the WWE for a few more weeks, just that he had been given his notice.

Guest Lemon Drop Kid Report post Posted February 19, 2003 I'm totally Down with the Brown. When the D'lo watch hits the zero hour I may have to start making the commute to Nashville again, just to be ready with my "RECOGNIZE" sign.
Guest RevEvil Report post Posted February 19, 2003 He will have to use a different name right?
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted February 19, 2003 Too bad Killings has turned face or we could see D'Lo start tag teaming with him and continue the gimmick only with better writers behind it.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted February 19, 2003 You are aware that Russo is one of the writers for NWA:TNA ?
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted February 19, 2003 Totally aware of it. His work is not without it's merits. He'll at least be able to give D'Lo a character and motivations. Something the WWF writers seem to not be too.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 19, 2003 TNA's writers seem to better than Raw's in terms of the "racist" angle. I don't think anybody would disagree that the handling of The Truth was far better than the handling of D'Lo.
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted February 19, 2003 What will his name be? My money is on "Low Down Brown"
Guest The Notorious CRD Report post Posted February 19, 2003 He will have to use a different name right? D'Lo holds the rights to a variaton on his name, which I believe is D-Lo, so he can still wrestle using the name people know him by.
Guest goar Report post Posted February 19, 2003 Doesn't adding all these Heat castoffs make TNA look weak to nonfans? I mean is D'Lo really going to get a noticable amount of extra buyers? This doesn't seem much different than WWE bringing in guys like Goldberg or Sting or even Austin and Hogan to try and pop a buyrate except that its on a much lower scale. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted February 19, 2003 He's wrestled under the A.C. Conners name before. But that's almost as bad a B.D. James...so I hope he doesn't use it.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted February 19, 2003 I remember D'Lo using "D-Lo" prior to signing with the WWF.

Guest lapola2k3 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 They're probably going to bring in b-2 first to start the feud and then d-lo and make em a tag team .
Guest lapola2k3 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 i think it makes tna stronger to bring in names and keep the roster constantly changing that's the way the game should be cuz itz a wurk.whoever doesn't get over gets cut .tna doesn't have time or money to be redefining characters when they just pull a new dude off the indie circuit. Now if they would change bad storylines, ideas, gimmicks in for better ones at the same rate they'd be on top.
