Under that rivalry system, teams that wouldn't play each other.

The whole thing is screwed up since Michigan State HAS to play Penn State and Michigan

Rob is this your idea or is actually somthing that's going to happen.

OK. Why is Iowa-Penn St. a rivalry? Wouldn't Penn St.-Michigan St. make more sense.

I've always wondered how big a rivalry Wisconsin and Iowa have. Both schools have one with Minnesota, and it seems like they should, but it doesn't seem like a huge deal when they play.

Iowa is kinda screwed. Michigan-St. and Penn St. have developed a rivlary.

November 1: Duke

The Vols are a bunch of chickens!

Padding their schedule with Duke! As everyone knows, DUKE SUCKS (especially in Football)! Of course, they probably couldn't beat any other ACC teams like FSU, NC State or say..MARYLAND, so its understandable.

FSU? NC State? Maryland?

Forget them. It's UVA all the way next year.

Though I bet the Vols could probably take North Carolina, too, who are almost as bad as Duke when it comes to pigskin time.

Penn State and Michigan State have a pretty good rivalry going right now, I think they've even got a trophy for it (Land Grant Trophy perhaps?). I agree that having two protected games in the Big Ten is sort of silly, but some teams have two serious rivals (Michigan vs MSU and OSU). I honestly think that the Big Ten and Notre Dame have to come to a consensus to make things work out correctly. A twelveth team splits the conference into divisions, which means the two best teams every year will play each other. This is what the Big Ten needs, IMO.

Okay guys, let's have each of your teams lose eight starters and seven of those backups to injuries for the whole season in THE HARDEST CONFERENCE IN FOOTBALL and see how they perform. I'm quite proud that we were able to even make the Peach Bowl with our depleted roster. Didn't help that Clausen wasn't the same after his injury either. Maryland smashing Tennessee wasn't a surprise. After the smacking-around that Miami gave us, we were just sleepwalking through our games and already thinking about next year.

Oh, and I'm sure none of your teams pad their schedules either, right?
