Guest Downhome Report post Posted February 15, 2003 I just read that John C. Reilly is the first actor since 1940 to have significant roles in 3 of the 5 Best Picture Oscar nominees. He appears in Chicago, The Hours and Gangs of New York. In addition to these great films, he was also in The Good Girl, in a staring role which he did supurb in! Perhaps how, at age 39, he will finally start getting all of the recognition that he deserves. I was just wondering if any of you all knew this Hollywood fact, record making fact, about John, as I didn't realize this. I knew he was in the three movies which are nominated for Best Picture, but I didn't put together what that meant, just, wow. I wish him luck, as he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, for his role in Chicago. I have no idea who will take this one home, as it seems to be very close, but I do wish him luck. If he wins, he earned it. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
