John C. Reilly makes Hollywood history...

I just read that John C. Reilly is the first actor since 1940 to have significant roles in 3 of the 5 Best Picture Oscar nominees. He appears in Chicago, The Hours and Gangs of New York. In addition to these great films, he was also in The Good Girl, in a staring role which he did supurb in! Perhaps how, at age 39, he will finally start getting all of the recognition that he deserves.

 

I was just wondering if any of you all knew this Hollywood fact, record making fact, about John, as I didn't realize this. I knew he was in the three movies which are nominated for Best Picture, but I didn't put together what that meant, just, wow. I wish him luck, as he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, for his role in Chicago. I have no idea who will take this one home, as it seems to be very close, but I do wish him luck. If he wins, he earned it.

He has always been the greatest supporting actor...so He deserves to win one...However...I liked him more in Good Girl then any other three.
