The first because it was the arc that really put the title on the map and the second because it was the story that made Batman human, and showed he could make mistakes. It really showed Batman's human side, and illustrated that even a man with perhaps one of the strongest wills in the world can be tempted by the lure of easy power and quick solutions. Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted February 17, 2003 Venom hands down. This was *the* story in which fans got to see just how closely they could relate to Batman. In the DCU, that is not an easy task and when Batman succombed to taking the drug, you could hear the fans gasping.
