Would anyone think negatively

I'm asking this because I'm considering it as a name for a potential fed. While definitely not the best wrestling company of all time, 'World Championship Wrestling' has a damn good ring to it and the 1999-2001 logo kicks 29 different kinds of ass IMO. I've already checked the trademark listings, and the trademarks on their late-version logos are dead (unless I'm producing toothbrushes or other toiletries, for some reason).

 

I was just wondering if you think that the WCW name is so horribly tarnished that it could never be resurrected and used by someone else.

It just depends. The old fans (jerks like me) may be more attracted to it, due to the name. You'd just have to stay *very* far away from what made the original WCW so bad, of course.

 

 

I think that it is worth a try, to be sure.
