Guest The Man in Blak Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 All right, we're getting down to the wire, so I thought I'd bring back a little variation on something that was done a couple of times on the old board (and even once here, I think.) Okay. You are God. (don't let it get to your head or anything) Between bestowing miracles and generally fucking around with weather patterns in the midwest, your interest in wrestling draws you to Wrestlemania X-8. But alas, not everything seems right to you. The internet geeks and gurus are constantly offering you prayer (though they keep calling you Benoit for some reason) to do something about this catastrophe of a wrestling card. Sure, you may not think it's too bad, but the bitching is really getting loud so you decide to do something about it. Given your consuming schedule of godliness, you can do three things and three things only: 1) Switch two competitors in two different matches 2) Add one wrestler into one match 3) Delete one match entirely Example: - Switch Maven and the Rock so that you get Rock/Goldust for the Hardcore Title and Maven challenging Hulk Hogan for the title of best ever~! - Summon the Gobbledygooker to show up in a bikini and make the Women's triple threat a truly fatal four way... - Quench the thirst of all internet markdom and get that bastard Triple H off of your television screen and that darned WWF title match with him! Discuss.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1) Switch two competitors in two different matches Switch Angle and Taker, Making it Taker/Kane and Angle/Flair 2) Add one wrestler into one match Add Ivory to the Women's match 3) Delete one match entirely Maven/Dust
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1) Switch Steve Austin & HHH. 2) None. 3) Delete Maven/Goldust.
Guest teke184 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1. Switch Rock and Austin. 2. Add Hurricane to the Euro title match 3. Delete either Maven-Goldust or the 6-man tag. If I HAD to choose one, it would be Maven-Goldust
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1. Switch Flair and Angle 2. Add Benoit as ref in Austin/Hall so he can destroy Nash with a chair or something. 3. Delete whatever Big Show ends up doing,
Guest Anglesault Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1. Switch Flair and Angle You want Angle/Taker and Kane/Flair?!
Guest The Electrifyer Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1) Switch Mr. Perfect out of his crap match and let him take on DDP for the European Title, giving it some class 2) Add Tazz to the Hardcore match... and make him win! 3) Delete that crappy match with Billy and Chuck
Guest Anglesault Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 2) Add Tazz to the Hardcore match... and make him win! Why?
Guest chirs3 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1) Switch two competitors in two different matches --> Angle and Booker 2) Add one wrestler into one match --> Snow into the Hardcore match. 3) Delete one match entirely --> Women's title match.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 1. Switch Flair and Angle You want Angle/Taker and Kane/Flair?! oops. I think the horrors of the hosses are playing tricks with my mind. Obviously, I meant to type Flair and Kane.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 2) Add Tazz to the Hardcore match... and make him win! Why? Well, it couldn't be any worse than having Maven or Goldust walk away with the Hardcore title. I'll chip in here: 1) Switch Mr. Perfect with the Undertaker, giving us Flair/Perfect and resigning Taker to the 6-man 2) Add Tajiri into the Edge/Booker T match, just because he was involved in the storyline earlier and just to give him a spot on WM 3) Delete the tag match - if you can't do it right, don't do it at all
Guest Anglesault Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Quote (Anglesault @ Mar. 17 2002,17:38) Quote 2) Add Tazz to the Hardcore match... and make him win! Why? Well, it couldn't be any worse than having Maven or Goldust walk away with the Hardcore title. No, it really wouldn't. It's fucking TAZZ. The man who was rejected from the Oompa Lompas for being too small.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Tazz would as good as anyone to be hardcore champ, being as the title is meaningless.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 I don't think Tazz is even worth it.
