Who is snowed in today?

In Parkville, MD, we have about 18 inches of snow with no let up in sight. I'm currently enjoying a DVD marathon with my fiancee. Watching Gremlins right now...Next up-Godfather Trilogy.

I'm....uh....heated in. It's 80+ degrees here, I've been watching stuff all day. Good Will Hunting, my 24 DVD box set, and The Simpsons Season 1 box set.

Not far away from you, Luke: Aberdeen, MD, and it's snowing like a bitch here, too. It's supposed to snow through tomorrow, and there's the potential for 30 inches when it's finished, which would be the most from one storm in the history of the state, I believe. I think the Famer's Almanac was calling for a blizzard for us this year, and I think they'd predicted it for this weekend. Interesting, if it's true.

I have off Monday, but going back to work on Tuesday is already looking questionable.

I am sitting in watching the Osbornes, SNL, and soon I'll play DDR until HeAT comes on most likely. Since I can't move outside I'll have to move inside :)

SLC here, and all of the snow melted yesterday. We had about five inches on the ground. This doesn't seem to be a great winter for us.

It's been raining all morning and I haven't even known. I'm going outside now...

::Wants to come over to EricMM's house::

I've been sick all weekend, so I'll just lounge around the dorm and me miserable. And do some work. MAYBE play some DDR, since I finally invested in pads this week.

I am so freaking irritated by the full day news coverage.

1 pm it is snowing in Cape may county

2 pm still snowing

3 pm still snowing.

Gee thanks for the update. I couldn't just look out my front window, that would be way too confusing.

We're supposed to get hit pretty hard again up here in Boston. I already have about a ft. of snow in my yard.

There's still about 5 inches or so on the ground here, since it's been too cold for it to melt.

Another foot, whee. Well, at least I'm not in DC. We were overdue for a winter like this. Last year it was in the 60s half the time.

You're in southern MA, right? I'm about 8 miles north of Boston and we always get way more snow than the southern part of the state. it sucks.

Im just south of Bmore. I had to drive home from work this morning at 5:00. The roads were a disaster then, and its been snowing as hard or harder for the last 12hrs. Luckily, I got a shipment of 3 dvds from Columbia House yesterday. I just got done with the Boogie Nights 2 disc. Next up is the Star Trek II Directors Edition 2 disc, then its Bamboozled.

Wow, Maryland is well represented here! I'm in Rockville, MD and its 2 feet deep. Governor Ehrlich just made an executive order banning all cars from Maryland roads with a possible penalty of $1,000!

Wow. Lotta MD folks in here.

Changed my mind on the GF trilogy...Watched "The Score", "Run Lola Run" and now I'm in the middle of a 3 Stooges episode.

It's the one where Curly was lip syncing to the opera record...great stuff.

I'm in the Philly area. The worst is supposed to arrive after midnight. It started this afternoon and is supposed to continue through Monday evening.

All told, we predicted to get as mush as 24 inches.

It's not so much snowed in as colded in... It was -32 Degrees Celsius In Halifax Yesterday, Add in the fact that the weather is oceanfront weather, and it was really bad

We get the cold weather in Minnesota. It's not bad right know, but last week highs were in the single digits, and overnight lows 10 below and worse.

30 miles north of Cincinnati. This white sh*t won't stop coming down, but it's not as bad as other places.

The better half and I did our DVD renting Friday night: Feardotcom (didn't care for it), Windtalkers (liked it, but I can understand why it bombed), Lilo and Stitch (not as bad as I thought it would be), and Signs (much better than I thought it would be).

We also watched my V-day gifts: For Love of the Game and Resident Evil -- the special feature-less one with "superbit" crap. Whatever. My better half can't pick DVDs if her life depended on it -- Last year I made an obvious refernce to the "Glory" special edition DVD and I got the crap version for Xmas (but at least I can watch it in full frame as well as widescreen *eyes roll up*).

Oh well...

I'm in Cincy too...

Me and Some friends watched The Daytona (I collected $150 bucks in the process...NEVER go against DEI BITCHES!)...We all shot the bull for awhile afterwords....They left...The wife made a scrumplous dinner...and We watched Simpsons and the MWC show...

Since I hardly even bother showing up on time on Monday anyways...I just won't go anyways...I'll say home...Wife has to go to a conf...So I can finally watch my Shield DVD set...I'll likely fuck around here...and I might go sledding with some of my friend's kids...and have a pathetic attempt at reclaiming my childhood in a pathetic example of Nostalgia as I try to be cool in front of 10 year olds.

Penn State was cancelled, so it looks like I'll be watching a lot of Sopranos episodes and playing a lot of DWI. I'd play real DDR, but then my neighbor would call the police.

I am in Stamford, it is about a foot or more with more snow in sight until tommorrow. Glad I am not in BMore, were 36 inches fell. I have banks in front of my house over 3 feet tall and growing. I tired to shovel this morning but it just made a small vally and filled up a few hours ago. Wrestling marathon today baby.

We just dug our cars out to the point where we could move them. Thankfully, we have a huge driveway, and our landlord hired a chap with a big SUV and a plow. We moved the cars, he plowed the driveway, and now everything is good. The two side streets connecting us to the main road still look like shit, though, meaning it might be really interesting getting to work tomorrow.

Choken, they said on the news that Cincy may not have enough salt for the roads if there's another snowstorm -- hahahahaha.

You know, I love it when state/local governments try to be everything to everyone in terms of social services, but yet when they are called upon to do the one thing they should be able to do, they can't plow the freaking roads...

It seems like Connecticut is the only state not declaring a state of emergency in all of this. I'm surprised, normally we would be the first to do that type of thing.

Well my mom is stuck in Maryland. She flew back there to visit friends/family last thursday, was supposed to pick her up from airport today(monday) but of course with the weather she aint going nowhere. Next available flight is wednesday so hopefully she can get back then. On the positive side, she has more time to buy me some additional Redskins merchandise that is scarcely found out here in CA.

Mass hasn't yet, at least, not to my knowledge. A bunch of towns in Mass have, though. I think RI hasn't either.
