What is the opposing parties opinion on Iraq. Blair is going against alot of his own party, and it would seem like the Conservative Party (or whatever it's called) would be allied with Blair and the United States. Are they, or not. If not is it more to do with not siding with the opposing party which happens in the United States, or do they say something else.

Hmm, I may be mistaken, but I saw a figure that suggested that 80% of British citizens are agains the war, and they've migrated from his party simply because he's pro-war.

I don't think much of Europe really favors a war.

Yeah, after the first half of the 20th Century, the idea of a war anywhere really makes Europe ill.

Politics in Britain is essentially dead. Labour, and Blair in particular, are viewed as gutless promise-breakers who want to look big on the world stage by toadying up to Bush and getting involved in wars a country with Britain's limited capacity has no business getting involved in. The supposed opposition Conservative party is an outmoded joke with a nonentity as a leader. The third party, the Liberal Democrats, are receiving a surge in popularity but will never be considered government prospects. Blair is such a useless arse, though. Hey, at least some of you Americans want war. I may not agree with it, but at least Bush is doing it with some kind of domestic support. Blair is going against the wishes of the people who voted him in and contravening every principle of democracy. And his domestic policies are utter crap. He'll be out by the end of the year, Gordon Brown will be in. I'm not sure that'll be enough to save Labour, though.
