While this isn't as bad as people wondering what happens at the end of Titanic (does anyone know ANYONE who actually did that?) a kid at the end of DareDevil asked whomever they were with (and I'll give you the kid must be 10-12ish so I'm sure he must have been into the world of comic books otherwise why go but I'll still concede that point) why they killed off Elecktra. Geez, it would have been horrible if they DIDN'T kill her thats been one of the major DareDevil lore about her deaths and rebirths. Actually they should have done something with her setting up her return rather than that Bullseye thing in the middle of the credits

SPOILER ALERT

They did. There was a braille charm like the one she was wearing hanging on the rooftop. Earlier, Matt said they should make those in braille. I took it as a sign from her to him that she's alive.

END SPOILER

That's probably the reason - he's not into comic books. I'm not but still went to see X-Men, and will probably see DareDevil at some point.

Plus, he can be into the modern-day Daredevil, and not know much of the past.

But really, kids go to see superhero movies because they're superhero movies.

While working at a theater, one of my co-workers made a joke about the line waiting to see Titanic, and said, "What's the big deal? The ship sinks in the end.)

Some old woman who looked like she could have been on the REAL Titanic threw a hissy fit and told our manager that "Doug" ruined the movie for her. The manager lauged at her...

Exactly. I was starting to wonder if I was the only person that saw this scene. I mean, they're doing a Elektra spinoff movie. It would be hard to do that if she was dead.

Allright, I can buy that, I guess I'm more the type that will just brush up on the history of what I'm about to witness.

Though I can see it work both ways though, I mean there have been times where seeing a movie made me more intrested in brushing up on the history of what the movie was about (i.e. war movies based on actual events like "We Were Soilders" )

I forgot that it was a braile charm at the end D'OH! I thought the charm being there itself was a sign that she could still be amongst the living. In the comic book adaptation they mention that they never found her body as being the reason she'll pop back up for the sequel and possibly her own spinoff.
