Guest tpww7 Report post Posted February 18, 2003 Lower-bowls were basically full, while the Upper-decks were tarped off, very similar to the Smackdown show here in November. I got there just after 8:00, so I'm not sure if I missed anything, but here's what they taped for Sunday Night Heat: 1. Steven Richards beat Maven with his double-underhook pedigree maunever. best match of the Heat tapings, and got the crowd off hot. Maven was very over, and had the crowd behind him in this match. 2. Tommy Dreamer beat Michael Shane (in a reprisal of their encounter from ROH back in november) with his Death Valley Driver. Not one single person knew who Shane was aside from my brother and I. match was decent, as they tried to incorporate some psychology by working over the arm, and Shane wowed the crowd with his elbow drop off the top. 3. Dudley Boys (I guess their suspension doesn't extend to Heat) beat Rene Dupree (who looks strikingly like a smaller Batista) and Lance Cade (I think thats who it was because shockingly he cut his hair short to look like another generic OVW guy, and is barely recognizable) with the 3D. Crowd chanted for tables, but it was not to be. After Raw went off the air, Jerry Lawler sold for a long time before Bischoff and Morley offered him a beer. He took it and toasted with them, until he turned on them and blasted Bischoff and Morley with the beer can over their heads to send the crowd home happy. That was it, no appearance by Austin, despite the crowd chanting his name about a half dozen times throughout the night, and were clearly dying to see him. Guest bravesfan Report post Posted February 18, 2003 Did anyone see the fakes spoilers circulating on 1Bob? For those of you who may have not seen it, it was the spoilers regarding Test's match (who wasn't at the show) and another Austin run-in.
