Rhyno is not expected to join HHH's group

"A few weeks ago, WWE's plan was to have Rhyno join HHH's Evolution group when he returned from his neck injury, but the talk now is that he will not end up being a part of the group. Apparently, the company likes Evolution the way that it is constituted now and won't add Rhyno to it. As always, that is subject to change but that is where it stands right now."

WON says that he's expected to join the group "very soon".

I'm thinking Rhyno goes to Smackdown, and is the last "surprise" Paul Heyman tries to give Undertaker. UT/Rhyno at WM, with Rhyno ending UT's streak would be pretty cool.

I'd love for Rhyno to be an unofficial membe of both RAW and Smackdown, so we can see him gore UT one day and then the entire Evolution group the next. I think I could die happy, knowing Rhyno was tearing up 162 people a week. In fact, now that I think of it, Rhyno shouldn't have any storylines. He should just randomly show up, interrupt a match, and beat the hell out of someone. Even the wrestlers wouldn't know when it was coming. I think that'd be great.

I for one am hoping this news is true, putting him in this group, much less on Raw, would just hold him down.

 

The original idea was for him (acording to Meltzer) to show up as a face on Smackdown and go against Team Angle, likely with Edge as a partner, teaming them up. I would guess Edge does the mystery partner thing, and out comes Rhyno.

We have a guy like that in the SWF called The Elk. He's been retired, but he still randomly appears for comedic purposes.
