LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2003 What do you mean? If you don't have a Nielsen box, it does NOT matter if you watch RAW or not in regards to ratings. Besides, even if smarks everywhere stopped watching at the same time, the ratings wouldn't hardly even be affected even then. The casual fans are what matters, and they still tune in, period. Think about how little of the public has a Nielsen box, then think of the MINUTE ammount of smarks that have one, it doesn't matter. Stop watching if you people want, it's up to you, but I'll always be watching. Most casual fans have tuned out. That's why they're at almost less than half of the audience they had at their peak. Are you trying to tell me that the people that remain are mainly smarks and not casual fans? I hope not, because that is not even CLOSE to being the truth. When I really think about it, the current base of fans is rather large still, a bit larger than it was before the peak. The reason that so many left, is because they grew tired of it, that's all. Wrestling was "cool" for a while, they were bandwagon fans, and then the coolness wore off, and they left with it. The people who watch now, are the casual fans who have been watching for a while now. Sometimes a few bandwagon fans return, for returns of Rocky and the such, but for the most part what they have right now is just the good ol' wrestling fans. It'll take a LOT to get too much over 4.0 in the ratings, I don't expect it to go very high actually. My point, is that who watches now is the casual fans who have been around for a while. Those who are gone, left when the product became uncool, the bandwagon bunch.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2003 No I think most of the fans who are left are marks. Casual fans are fans that watch when it's the cool thing to do.
