(11:09pm) (@Judge) Spike has taken more neck bumps than anyone I know.

DAMN YOU SILENT!

Oh yeah, comment on the show and stuff.

Again, I don't write how I want to. I had plenty of time, but decided to leave everything to the last minute, and produced something worse than my entry match. I dig myself into a hole so many times... Well done to Crow anyway, I promise to put up more of a fight next time.

I won with a match that I thought was pretty good, but I'm not sure of the standards here yet... I don't think I'v e read a main event match. If anyone reads my match, and would like to, I'd like some comments :D

I was so close to giving you the win Storm, but I thought I put you over well :)

Well, I loose. My 3700 word wonder with the little french boy from the mawl brawl couldn't beat Thor's 5010. I'll be posting my match later on today

Damn you Myers! I was planning on using Little Frenchie for my match, had I been more motivated.

(Sigh)

As it was, good card. Fosta, your match was a great read... I was kinda hoping you'd no-show so my (ahem) match could've won.

As it was...

Tom or Annie, if you could PM that bad boy back to me so I can post it, please? Thanks.

Bleh, fuck it. Here is what I have so far. The rest will be up Friday.

------------------------------

Eh fuck. Since I have nothing to do after the NWA TNA show (Fuck You Jarrett. Styles = Over), I might as well as review SJL Metal. This = better go on the website too. Anyway...

SJL Metal

- Live from Paris, France.

- Commentary Team of Axis and Suicide King.

Free Agent in the SJL?

- And we start the show, not with a match, that would seem like a wrestling show, but were not that. But hey, look. Sean Atlas is talking to Aecas backstage. That's odd, considering they have a match later that night... But who is that? A giant "Pacific Islander" walking by. Axis informs us that it is a hot, free agent. Hmmm, wonder who he could be...

Tryst vs. “Dark Rebel” Terry Wayne

- This would happen to be Terry Wayne's SJL debut. Let's see if he can hang with the top SJL talent (and when I say top SJL talent, I mean me). Everyday you learn something new, as Axis tells us that Paris is the city of lights. Didn't know that. Terry grabs THE STICK~! He tries to introduce himself to Tryst, and get a handshake, but Tryst shakes him off, which seems both in and out of character. Terry decides to pick on a women at ringside, but ends up getting slapped by Tryst. Ouch. Before Terry could retaliate, the referee separates them, and the bell rings. Terry attempts a single leg takedown, but Tryst is too fast, and escapes. Terry challenges Tryst to a test of strength, but Tryst pulls out a single leg takedown, and a front face lock. Terry fights his way up, and whips Tryst into the ropes. Tryst leap frogs a backbody drop and hits an arm drag takedown. Nice comment by King, as he explains that Tryst isn't out to hit his big, high flying moves at the start of the match, and just using his speed to counter. Tryst immediately goes for the arm bar, but Terry gets to his feet, and backs Tryst into a corner. They break the hold, and Terry gets some revenge with a SLAP~! Tryst looses his temper, and chases after Terry, as Terry makes his escape out of the ring. Terry outsmarts Tryst, ducking out of sight, and hitting a lariat when Tryst comes running over and a snake eyes onto the barricade. Back into the ring, Tryst gets an elbow for a one count. Terry quickly locks in a neck vice, but Tryst fights to his feet, getting a few quick elbows in and a spinning wheel kick. Tryst heads to the top rope, but Terry dodges out of the way of a dropkick. Terry hits a quick DDT for a ~TWO~ count. Terry gets a knee drop across the throat, and heads up top for a flying elbow, but Tryst moves out of the way. Tryst gets to the apron, and hits a springboard clothesline into the ring, sending Terry to the floor in an odd looking spot. If he hits a springboard clothesline, wouldn't that knock you flat down, and not ricochet you out of the ring? Springboard plancha by Tryst to Terry on the outside, knocking Terry over the barricade, in another odd looking spot. How does a plancha fling you over the barricade? Tryst with some kicks to the chest and legs. Tryst locks Terry in a full nelson, and drags him over to the women Terry insulted earlier in the match, where she gets a good SLAP~! in. Tryst throws Terry back over the guardrail, and into the ring, but only gets a ~TWO~ count. Northern lights suplex to Terry for another ~TWO~ count. A quick Oklahoma Roll gets a ~TWO~ count on Terry. Superkick attempt by Tryst is caught by Terry, who spins Tryst around for a clothesline, that is ducked. Tryst catches a backslide out of it for a ~TWO~ count. Tryst tries an irish whip into the corner, but Terry reverses, which Tryst hits a corner backflip kick and signals for The Arrows Path? Umm, wouldn't Terry have to be in the corner for the corner backflip kick? Tryst heads up for The Arrows Path, but Terry crotches him at the last second. Terry heads upstairs, and gets a double underhook suplex. What? No pin? In an odd looking situation, Tryst no sells the suplex from the top rope, and begins to get up, but Terry stops that with a hangmen's neckbreaker. He goes for the cover, but Tryst already has his foot on the ropes. Terry drags Tryst into the middle of the ring, and heads up for another flying elbow, this one hitting its target, and only gets a ~TWO~ count. Terry signals for The Fatal Flaw, but Tryst counters with a backdrop, which takes both men out for a while. The referee starts to count them out, but Tryst gets up at eight. Tryst attempts his Yakuza kick which sets up for his finisher, The Crusade, but Terry ducks it, but gets caught with a superkick anyway, for ~TWO~. Instead of staying on the attack, Tryst heads out to get his bow and arrow, which is a really odd weapon choice, but look who we are talking about here. Terry gets himself together, and climbs to the apron, and as Tryst turns, gets a flying lariat off the apron. Terry grabs a glass of water off the announcers table, and in a cute spot, spits the water in the women's face, causing her to go insane, and get tossed out of the building. Terry suplexs Tryst ribs first over the barricade, and climbs up to the apron, climbing up to the middle rope, and hits an elbow onto the hanging Tryst. Terry heads back into the ring, awaiting his count out victory, but Tryst makes it to the apron at eight. Terry drops Tryst throat first across the top rope, sending Tryst back down to the floor. But Tryst makes it back to the apron before the second nine count. Terry attempts to suplex Tryst into the ring, but Tryst flips over him, and bounces into the ropes, but gets caught in a sleeper. Tryst drops down, but his arm falls twice, before he gets the usual face comeback, and hits a jawbreaker, breaking the hold. They both struggle around, as Terry goes for another DDT, but Tryst counters with a reverse atomic drop (Manhattan Drop?) and a clothesline. Tryst lifts Terry, and gets a few kicks to the ribs, before hitting a spinning heel kick, sending Terry to the corner. Tryst lifts Terry to the top rope, and heads up for a hurricanrana, and a pin attempt, but Terry has his foot under the bottom rope. Tryst drags Terry to the center of the ring, and heads up top again, for a moonsault, that only gets a ~TWO~ (?) count. Tryst lifts Terry up and hits a SWANK AMERICAN DRAGON DRAGON SUPLEX for ~TWO~. Tryst heads up top for the Arrows Path again, but Terry catches him in midair and KILLS him with a sit-out powerbomb. They are both declared legally dead here. But somehow, Terry gets up, followed by Tryst. Terry waists no time, and hits the "FUCK THIS IM ENDING THE MATCH RIGHT NOW" Fatal Flaw, for the pin.

HSJ Notes: Try to stretch the entrances out some more. The entrances were about 2 lines each. And try not to abbreviate, some people may not know what your talking about. Work on your move descriptions. It seemed like you went from one move to another, without really describing it. Also, work on your transactions between moves. Good use of the commentary, as they talk about how Tryst can beat Terry with a high impact move, and whatnot. I like the whole working on the windpipe thing, which would work good against Tryst, who is a high flyer. A nice, hot end to the match, especially showing Terry being fed up of all of Tryst's high flying moves, and just grabbing him, and dropping him on his head. I can't wait to read some more of your work, as I can tell you really got into this. *3/4

Omega Storm vs. Fosta

- Omega Storm is still winless in the SJL, after countless times of showing up with some good matches. Don't worry man, you'll be racking up wins down the road. This is apparently a "Sympathy" match, where both guys, who never won a match, FINALLY pick up a win. Unless it goes to a no contest, which would be funny. And as I type this, I read King making fun of them for having no wins and losing by double count out. King is my role model. Collar and elbow tie up, which the stronger Omega Storm wins, and pushes Fosta into the corner, causing the referee to break it up. Lock up again, but Storm tosses Fosta onto his ass. Fosta's ego must hurt from being tossed around like Cutthroat. Storm challenges Fosta to a test of strength (The Second One Tonight!), but instead of making the crowd happy, he just flips Storm off. THAT BASTARD! They tie up again, but Fosta finally gets the upper hand with a standing armbar, and pushes Storm into the ropes, but the referee oddly breaks the hold. Fosta, all happy about putting Storm in a armbar, begins posing, but gets attacked from behind by Storm. Clothesline and a back body drop from Storm. Fosta tries to retaliate, but gets caught with a clothesline over the top rope. Storm *magically* gets to the outside, and hits Fosta with an elbow, and a headlock. Storm drags Fosta towards the announcers table, but Fosta pushes him shoulder first into the steel post, knocking Storm to the mat. The fans seem to be getting behind Storm here. Fosta gets an armbar on Storm, but whips him shoulder first into the steel post. Ouch. Fosta roll Storm back into the ring, and heads up onto the apron and hits a springboard dropkick to the shoulder of Storm, but Storm no sells it like a good hoss, and clotheslines Fosta out of his boots for a ~TWO~ count. Storm goes for a jackhammer, but Fosta blocks it, and reverses into an armbar. Storm reaches the ropes, but Fosta refuses to let go till the four count. Fosta gets to his feet, and drags Storm to the center of the ring, and hits a weak looking shoulder breaker. Fosta makes the rookie mistake, instead of going for the pin, he heads to the top rope, and goes for the moonsault, but Storm rolls out of the way. Damn Noobs. Don't know when to go for the pin. Fosta injured his knee on the moonsault, but pulls himself together. Storm gets up, and charges in, and WRECKS THE SHIT OUT OF Fosta, with a Yakuza kick. Storm drags Fosta out of the corner, and gets a ~TWO~ count. Storm attempts a powerbomb, but Fosta won't go for it, but in a really odd sequence, Fosta apparently dead lifts Storm over his shoulder, but with Storm landing on his feet? I don't really know. Fosta turns and Storm hits a big elbow to the face, and gets a ~TWO~ count. Storm gets back up, but Fosta hits a good ol' fashioned low blow, sending Storm to the mat. Fosta gets pissed, and tosses Storm shoulder first into the steel post, and in a cool spot, Fosta dropkicks Storm in the ass, sending him further into the ring post, and Storm falls out of the ring. The fans seem to be turning on Storm and joining with Fosta for his innovation. And instead of Fosta playing up to Storm being on the outside, Storm comes right back in the ring. Why send Storm out of the ring in the first place, if you weren't going to capitalize on it? Fosta hits a few elbows, which Storm no sells, since he is a hoss and all. Storm goes for a clothesline, but Fosta ducks under it, and hits an elbow to the face, which knocks Storm to the mat. Hell Yes! Go all Japan on us, and bring out the fucking elbows to the face. But Storm NO SELLS THE ELBOW, and gets back to his feet. Fucking Hoss. It must be Fosta. If I hit Storm with an elbow, he'd be out for a week. And that's a fact! Storm decides to show Fosta what an elbow is, AND BEATS HIM TO DEATH WITH ELBOWS TO THE FACE. Yikes. Storm sends Fosta into the ropes, but Fosta ducks a clothesline, and gets caught with ANOTHER elbow to the face, for a ~TWO~ count! Storm gets up pissed, and begins beating on Fosta with boots. Storm decides to end the match, and sets up for the powerbomb. But Fosta counters with a Hurricanrana, into a Crucifix armbar, and Storm taps the fuck out.

HSJ Notes: Working the arm = good. Reread your match over before you send it in. I got lost a few times, because I couldn't understand what you were doing at certain points. Reread it to make sure everything is correct, and in place. Put who is saying what in your commentary. Unless they said something really heelish, I didn't know who was speaking, King or Axis. I liked how the announcers kept putting over how Fosta is a technician, but I think you went a little overboard on it, and why not talk about what a power house Storm was? Nice little finish. But the announcers could have played up more to Storm's arm being crap from all the abuse. Overall, not bad, but could still use some work. **

Pier 254,363,914 Brawl!

- We cut backstage to Ben Hardy with Gus, heading towards the parking lot, where JANUS comes tumbling in. Janus talks about some superstars, namely Me, Mike. Guess what his answer is? Anyway, as Ben is about to ask about Crow, in walks the fucking bird himself. Crow wants to still be friends with Janus, after the Smirnoff Showdown~! Janus screams at Crow about costing him his world title shot, and a Pier 2,368 Brawl Erupts! Crow gets the last shot in, and gets the hell out of there, while Janus gets the last laugh. "...Crow? ....A fighter who bleeds more than he wrestles...barely an adequate opponent." Boo Yah!

Thanks Spike. Points taken. All the spots made sense to me, but I had the spot in my head. It must have been the descriptions of them that are a little obscure. It'd be sick if we had somone do that for each show... they wouldn't have to write the match review of course.

LOL, I discovered puro not too long ago... a little obsessed.

The following is an image of one of the wrestlers that competed in the match I watched before writing Fosta vs Storm. He elbowed his opponent many, many times;
