I get the feeling that there would be a bit more complaining if he was messing up moves on SmackDown!

 

Besides, I don't actually see what the point of the angle is. Is it that Theodore 'can't referee for shit' Long thinks that black people aren't respected in WWE and so has to beat the respect out of them?

 

If so, doesn't WWE contradict its own angle given that is seems it may be Booker T v HHH at WMX9?

Okay, this "He did a Tiger Driver '91" stuff is nonsense.

 

A properly-executed Tiger Driver '91 is a double-underhook powerbomb that ends with a knee drop and a high-angle head-neck-upper back bump.

 

A properly-executed Tiger Driver is a double-underhook powerbomb that ends with a sit-out and a flat back bump.

 

Watching the move on TV, juding by the way Mack himself landed, he was obviously attempting a Tiger Driver and was simply too... fucking... sloppy to properly protect his opponent. You can say 'Give him another chance' all you want, but remember Hebner and Long's reactions. Long slid into the ring immediately to trash-talk Snow, but it was obvious to anyone that he was really just trying to control the situation. It looked like Mack was supposed to go for a postmatch beatdown that Long and Hebner just had the sense to stop.

 

Mack obviously needs some more work, and should be given a finisher that's harder to mess up. If Batista wasn't already using the sit-out powerbomb, I'd suggest that.
