Is Angle a transitional champ.. AGAIN?

marks and smarks alike loved HHH back in 2000-early 2001 saying that he was the God of wrestling...but we don't want to remember that do we?

Angle is definetly not a transistional champ. He's gotten clean wins over all the faces on Smackdown except Brock. Usually a transistional champ will lose to the top face or somebody who is above them in status, this is not the case. Angle and Lesnar are so equal, that either won winning the match is not an upset.

I've never been a fan of HGH. I've never liked his interviews, or been high on his ring work. To me, he used to be decent enough in the ring, and could be carried. Now though, he's just a waste of space.

HGH will job and put people over. It's just a happy coincidence that they just happen to be people who are of zero possible threat to his position.

And as for Angle v Lesner at WMX9, I would have Angle win when a bloody Brock passes out from being in the ankle lock or heel hook. It puts Brock over for being tough, and Angle over for making Brock pass out. It means Angle can be built up with more defences, avoiding Brock until the final blowoff at SummerSlam.

crowd doesnt have a long enough attention span for that anymore

Brock will win the belt at Mania but the Brock/Angle feud won't end there, it will only begin really. From then on they can add Benoit and Edge to the mix. Cap it all off with either a 4 way or 3 way at SummerSlam where Benoit takes the title.

If Benoit takes the title, it should be one-on-one feud. Angle should turn face and come back down the line at SummerSlam and beat Brock.

Forgive me I'm new to this board, but what is with the obsession with Triple H? Why must every thread turn into a go-nowhere arguement about him? Did I miss something? It just seems impossible to talk about anything wrestling related without introducing him into the conversation producing the same tired jokes and comments. Yeah he sucks and is killing the WWE, I get it. Can we move on now?

Because he sucks and is killing the WWE like you said. That's why. Plus he's fun to pick on.

Uh-oh.....someone complimented HHH's 2000 work. *sits down and lights a cigarette waiting for Tim to arrive and call us all fools*

We remember plenty. But he sucks now and is one of the worst things on WWE TV. Kind of like how Saddam used to be our ally...now we hate his guts.

I noticed that also. Seems like a fetish here.

Angle is not transitional, he is holding the belt for a little while and then giving it up. No one can hold the belt for a full year anymore. It just wouldn't fly. Then again they should try to do things differently because of the slump they are in.
