Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 18, 2002 Just curious as to what y'all think? I'll go with the usual suspects: Booker T, Edge, Hardys, Dudleys Anyone else that comes to mind?
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted March 18, 2002 Don't steal my heat brother! The aforementioned guys don't need a heel turn with the exception of the Rock. None of them have enough momentum to make their turn noteworthy. Booker T needs to stay heel but go the way the Rcok did and be forced to turn face because I like him better as a heel than as a face. His spinaroonie stuff is much more over now than it ever was in WCW during his face run. He is just more entertaining as a heel than as a face, similar to the way te Rock was. Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 18, 2002 "Don't steal my heat brother! " Whaddya mean? As for booker, I think he was much better as a face and his moveset was more workrate oriented. As a heel , he tries the slow evil methodical HHH pace that doesn't work for him at all. An Edge turn would be nice because he is a much more effective heel and would give RVD some solid comp. Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted March 18, 2002 hmmm...Kane loses the mask and then turns might be good. If only for something different for him.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 18, 2002 "Don't steal my heat brother! " I think I know what you are implying, Let me do some quick editing man.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 18, 2002 Someone needs to turn heel soon as the only main event heels are now Angle and Jericho, given Hogan's turn and the fact that Hall and Nash don't count. I'd go with Rock given how the crowd turned on him.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I think that heat was just because Toronto loves Hogan. He'll be fine; they'll probably end up with Hogan/Rock vs. the Outsiders as one of the headliners. If anyone should turn, I think it's dead obvious it should be HHH. Guest MARTYEWR Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Dudleys definitely need a face turn. I still am trying to figure out why they were turned heel in the first place...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Steve Austin needs to go back to being a heel.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Steve Austin needs to go back to being a heel. surely you jest?
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Nope. Austin was infinitely more entertaining as a heel.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I can't even imagine how drastic of a measure they'd have to take to turn him, then get him over as a heel. he's just too #### lovable i guess.
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 The Dudleys as a face team? I don't know.......maybe b/c I was a fan of them in ECW but I always think of them as heels. I did like them as faces though. The Rock is LONG overdue for a change, something to shake up his tired, old act. I think Flair as a face sucks b/c he's the greatest heel....I don't know. I definitely think that Macho Man should stay heel. I mean, he smashed Steamboat's larynx, that was so evil........whoops, I'm sorry, after watching wrestling lately I thought it was the 80s again. Guest Brian Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Austin draws infinately more as a face.
Guest The Man They Call Texas Blu Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I think Jericho is much better as a face and Austin is better as a heel. I think it is a little too early for a Rock heel turn, maybe wait a month or two. Make it look like Hogan and Rock are cool with each other, then the Rock can turn, but have a feeling Hogan will be the one to turn.
Guest The Man They Call Texas Blu Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I take it back, Austin is better as face. I must have been drunk again.
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Naw, Jericho is a good heel. They need Eddie back though.......a great heel. I mean, obviously Vince doesn't mind bringing back people with past problems, give Eddie a chance damnit.
Guest Impaler Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Yeah, Goodhelmet's right...an RVD/Edge feud over the IC belt would be good. Right now I can't see any viable challengers anyway, unless they intend to continue to beat the dead-horse feud with Regal. Which I REALLY hope they don't. Guest Perfect_Bo Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I think a person that should go heel is Edge and reform Edge and Christian.. Dudley Boys should be face again... HHH should go heel and Y2J should go face... DDP should go for the world title.. APA should just go away... Hall should turn to Razor Ramon... Kane should get a push... Hardy's should just gang bang Lita and get it over with... Angle should fight for the title... Benoit should come back and kick all there asses... Rhyno and RVD should have an awsome fued, shit, put Storm in the mix... Maven should fight Raven (Just like saying it fast) And Undertaker should just go back to the darkside... Well, that's all I have to say about that... B "I am the mother fuckin man" O
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Hey, I'll give Regal credit last night. He worked nice and stiff with RVD. But I think RVD and Edge or RVD-Booker would really rock given 15-20 minutes. Then again, whoever said RVD-Storm in a best of 7 was right on. Did anyone else notice how the three matches I was looking forward to (DDP-Christian, RVD-Regal, Booker-Edge) were supershort and could have elevated the quality of the show given ten more minutes each? Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 RVD-Regal could have been longer, but many people are guessing that it was shortened due to in-match injury. That's happened A LOT with Regal over the past 6 months... especially when someone would just look at his nose and it would start bleeding.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 "Austin draws infinately more as a face." Who cares? I don't own WWF stock. All I want is to be entertained, and Austin as a heel is far more entertaining than his lame face character.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 19, 2002 You're going to have a better chance of getting entertained if the WWF stays in business. And until Austin is unprofitable (or unpopular), they are best suited to have him as a face. Some people are so selfish...

Guest Brian Report post Posted March 19, 2002 And they're not exactly falling off the edge of the earth like they were during his heel run.
Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted March 19, 2002 yeah but kahran, his heel character and his face character are the same guy. and he cant resist the beer swilling and stunnering, its just... it'd be like trying to turn hogan heel, but without hogan ever having a wholesome image. It would be pointless Austin is always a badass, so turning him heel, he'd have to wear nice shirts and shave. *shrugs* austins always austin, no matter who he's fighting
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 19, 2002 Exactly. Austin needs to act like a badass. If he acted like he did in 1997, and got huge facepops, I would enjoy it. But his 1998-1999 character was such a corporate shill, that you can't help but find him annoying. Austin should never be out for anyone but himself, period. Yet in 1999 he did things like save Stephanie from Taker for no reason, forgive Vince McMahon countless times, etc. It was pathetic. He is better now than then, but he still plays to the crowd too much.
Guest alexcc79 Report post Posted March 19, 2002 HHH needs to turn? No! Heels dominate matches. HHH can't keep up when as a face all he has to do is bump over and over again. Having HHHHHHHH dominate the flow of the match would put everyone to sleep.
