It molds Benoit into a stronger face going into Wrestlemania, gives Lesnar a good reason to be actually jobbing so late before his title match and allows Haas & Benjamin to become better heels. And if the writers plan a post-match beatdown of Lesnar, it certainly raises doubt on whether Brock will be "ready" for Wrestlemania. Win-win, really. When it makes sense to have no replacement or just have Edge's Best friend, Rey take over...Los Guerrenos will play some factor on the 6man tag... To follow up on a story from earlier today, the results came back from the tests that Edge had to determine the extent of his neck injury and the news is not good. The results have shown that Edge will need to have neck surgery with Dr. Lloyd Youngblood to heal his injury. I believe that it will be the less serious of the two possible procedures, with Edge needing the one where Youngblood operates from the front of the neck, but I am not completely sure of that. There is no word at this time as to whether he will work in his six man match with Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar against Team Angle at the No Way Out PPV on Sunday. If Edge can't go, one candidate that I would like to see take his place would be Rhyno. A few weeks ago, Rhyno was slated to join HHH's Evolution group, but WWE changed directions when they liked how Evolution was getting over as it was currently constituted. It is well known throughout the Smackdown locker room that lead Smackdown writer Paul Heyman has been pushing hard for Rhyno to be a part of his show upon his return. For those unaware, it was Heyman who gave Rhyno his big break in ECW and pushed to the top of the card as a monster. I have heard from a few people that Edge was even telling people he liked the idea, and hoped Heyman could get it pushed through if the situation called for it. ...I hate for something like this to happen to any wrestler, I really do. I must say however, that if it means that Rhyno will get Edge's current spot, I'm all for it. Maybe Edge's time away will be a good thing for him, and he came come back totally refreshed, both as a person, and in the fans eyes. I'd prefer him to return as either a vicious heel, or as a SERIOUS face. This could be the perfect oppertunity for him to do what I've wanted for so long, that being, to evolve. Yes, I am all for TA Vs LG...as you can clearly see my pimping of... How do you see Benoit factoring in this? I don't see the logic of dumping Chavo for Benoit...Unless you want to make this a 3 way and have Benoit and Mysterio team up...have Kendrick with SOH motivation against Hardy... I don't care or understand why he is making Spanky streak, his little vignettes were beyond stupid and he can't even use that catchphrase of his in a way that makes any sense.
