Does stephanie know what's being said about her?

Does someone that works for Steph read the torch, observer, and even 1wrestling. Because the more criticism she gets the more time she's on TV. It's almost like she's telling the smarks "Fuck You".

probably not since Trips probably has a finger in one ear and his dick in the other.

She probably is, but is also getting told how great she is by Daddy.

The question should be does Stephanie care what is being said about her.

Ah, first post here in over a month for me! :)

Stephanie probably knows what's being said about her. It's been pretty obvious to me since the mid-90s that most wrestling personalities read the sheets, whether they agree with it or not. However, Vince McMahon is the boss, so if he wants to keep her on TV, that's his choice. Steph's also at a fairly high position herself, so she could probably care less what those on the Observer or Torch think.

oh my god LMAO

I didnt think I would hear anything funnier that the clip of the new Touchtone Terrorists on Stern this morning but this took the cake.

Like she even cares what anyone is saying about her. Shes sitting on a pile of money having a job we would all love. She probably laughs at the critics

She probably knows and doesn't care. Vince is out of touch with the fans, again. I would love to see her reaction to this question "How does it feel to go down as the person writing WWF TV when ratings went down?"

Steph: It feels great! im gonna get (another) boob job.

Maybe there is some formula there we can apply.

as the cup size increases, the ratings decrease?  :D

Hopefully after last night she'll be of tv for a while, but I doubt it. She'll probably end up hanging around with whoever Triple H defends the title against next.

You know it's funny. When the "dirtsheets" are talking good about the wrestler I bet anything they're toting it in the locker room saying "look what they said about me!" but when they are being bashed they're saying "oh screw them! They're just dirtsheets!"

Well, I don't think Stephy cares.  But she did care when fans wrote, "Stephanie has saggy boobs" signs.

But she and Vince both know that regardless of what we net fans say, we will always be there to watch.  ####, I watched during the early to mid 90s (shudder) and I never stopped watching.

Why should she care? Vince is out of touch with the fans? What, the smarks? All 5% of his fan base. Wow, I'm sure he can't sleep at night. They sold out the SkyDome, ratings have levelled out in the mid-4's (still the highest on cable) and are still mainstream. Does anyone remember in the mid-90s, when ratings were in the high 1's?? When Raw was in front of 1,500 people? Get a grip. Steph doesn't, and shouldn't, care what's said about her. It's just impatient, obnoxious people who can criticise people in her position, knowing nothing will come of it.

I'm not talking about the smarks. Vince is a 56 year old man trying to produce a product with Stephanie for the 18-34 year old males they want. Vince won't know what's hip with the younger fans he wants, and won't know which wrestlers they want to see.

Yeah, but regardless of Vince's opinions, and he obviously makes the final decision, Shane and Paul Heyman are pretty in tune with that demographic, so I can't see anything disastrous happening in that area.

I agree, but Vince is know to get a little stubborn at times ie. WWF 1995.

God Bless you WWF4life. I wish people around here would get a clue and realize there is a booking COMMITTEE!! The decisions are based not just on Steph's writing but Heyman,Shane,Doc Hedrix,Briscoe, Patterson, and most importantly Vince. Plus Vince has the final say as to what goes on the air and what doesn't. It's funny how the smarks on this board are selective with their praise and criticism. If there was something good, well Heyman must've wrestled the book away from Steph long enough to have this great tv. If something stinks, it must be Steph and HHH. Most important is that no matter who writes the bad tv, Vince is the one allowing it. So why don't some of you grow some balls and go after him.

I agree about the stubborness on Vince's part, but I guess fans have to live with that, that's Vince. That said, even when Vince was being kind of stubborn in '95, he still invested in the future...I can think of a huge number of guys who were brought in then:- Triple H, Steve Austin, Hakushi, Shane Douglas. I know some of those didn't work out, but Vince just doesn't sit back and scratch his ass, he always does something to try to boost fan interest.

Stephanie has become the new Vince Russo. Even though Russo had Ferrara, Taylor, Banks, Disco & Borash helping him...he got all the blame since he was WCW's Creative Director. Same thing is happening with Steph who herself has said is the Director of TV writing.

hmm its funny how you just grouped all the smarks together and didnt single them out DangerousA or say it was some of them.

Kind of like the generalizing that you had a problem with. Not everyone of the smarks here does it but Steph is used as a figurehead. I mean Vince could be used in place, but couldnt someone just say well maybe he didnt write that particular one, "go grow some balls" and "go after him".

I mean are people going to sleep easier whether a few people use Vince, "the Writers", "the comittee" in place of stephanie for expressing their opinions and frustrations with the product?

How would that grow some balls? As pointed out , like Vince/Stephanie/Heyman/Shane etc etc etc care what the #### is written here!!

If this post is crap, please direct it through Vince. I filter all my smark ideas through him

Didn't mean to generalize, 241. I'd say a large percentage. I usually like to play devil's advocate and go after the masses with something to actually think about and ponder as opposed to just meaningless flame posts just to get my ranking on the board higher. I have found myself in reply wars before, so alot of my posts  are to the general thought lines of the board. Sorry if you didn't like the generalization.

Stephanie gets more criticism because she's more visible, taking up so much valuable TV time every week. Vince has been less conspicuos (man I can't spell tonite) of late which probably explains why he's been gettin a easy ride on this board anyway.

The reason we blame Steph for the crap, and credit Heyman for the good stuff, is that the booking comittee assigns different people to write different feuds, storylines, etc.  For example, Steph books the stuff that she's involved in, which is why the HHH/Jericho/Steph/Lucy feud has been the drizzling shits, and Heyman has been booking the Flair/Undertaker feud, which is why it has been very emotional and intense.

And yes, Vince has veto power over everything, but he's a busy man, and can't look over every one's shoulders all the time.

Ummm... it's obvious that Steph doesn't care.

Steph has millions of dollars, Steph is on TV 2 days a week.

We are peons.

I always laugh when online nothings think that these celebrities give a shit.

Also, while it is true there are many bookers, Stephanie is a part of them, and she is the most visible of them.  So therefore, at Stephanie, I bitch.

I'm sure if Steph knew what we were saying about her she'd probably just say that we are the one's who tried to take her father down in the early 90's and the one's who bombed the twin towers, since she said they are both the same kind of people.

That's 2 days a week too much unless the b!tch is completely nude. As for her millions of dollars, it proves that the rich can never truly be holy.
