Guest RenegadeX28 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Well, I just turned on the TV, and there is a HUGE oil refinery fire in Staten Island. The smoke can be seen from Manhattan. No word if this was a terrorist attack. I can see the smoke in the distance, past the Empire State Building.

My brother is the exact same way, whenever ANYTHING happens, he shouts terrorism. When the space shuttle exploded, he was CONVINCED it was terrorism. Even though I told him it was not even possible, he INSISTED that a terrorist shot down the shuttle. When I told him it was going fater than any type of missle known to man, he said that he thinks they built one in secret. I'm serious, some people say EVERYTHING is terrorism now. It's almost like people WANT these tragedy's to be because of terrorism, and I hate that, but I think it's true for so many people.

But unless a bunch of refineries all go up about the same time, I doubt it would ever be anything more than accident. Or a bad practical joke.
