Guest Black Tiger Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I just finished watching the much hyped Lyger/Kanemoto vs. Kikuchi/Kanemaru match. Believe the hype, this match awesome. Its twenty seven minutes long, and watching it, felt like about ten. I'm going to do up a full review of the show tomorrow night and send it off to RG.
Guest DragonflyKid Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 My Joshi tape dealer sent me a comp as a bonus that had men's matches including: Liger/Tanaka VS Kikuchi/Kanemura 4/7/02, Liger/Tanaka VS Kikuchi/Kanemura 8/29/02 & Kikuchi/Kanemura VS El Samurai/Naruse. The first two were great and the third was really good. The workrate and heat were great so I'll be tracking down their recent match eventually as I have heard it's an early MOTYC.

I haven't seen too many Kikuchi matches, but this brought back memories of him & Kobashi vs. Kroffat/Furnas from 1992. This newer match wasn't quite as great as that one, but it could easily end up being the best for 2003. Liger & Kanemoto make good cocky heels. I also saw Low Ki vs. AJ Styles 1/5/2003 Zero One. This was great as well. This was the most impressed I've ever been with Styles. The match had great pace and really built as it went along.
