Smackdown rating, it's coming soon...

Recommended Posts

Guest Downhome

I KNOW that the overnight rating means almost nothing, but this really caught my eye...

Last night's edition of Smackdown scored a 4.7 overnight broadcast rating, with a 7 share, according to Nielsen Media Research.  That is way up from what the show has been doing recently in the overnights. The final number should be out later today.

...this overnight, is quite a bit higher than what it's been for the past few weeks. Since that is the case, I would assume that the normal rating would be up just as well. It was the last show before the big PPV, it was the show after RAW which improved quite a bit, so what do you think Smackdown will get?

I'll post the final rating here once it's out, and if not me, then one of you guys can do it if you want.

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

The final rating will probably end up in the 3.7- 3.8 range, which is up from the 3.4's i think they have been getting.

It's because they teased the Mania main event.

Wait, you mean people actually thought Angle/Brock was going to actually happen?

If they'll buy JR in RAW main events, then they'll buy just about anything WWE offers them.

I'll admit, for a second I thought they were actually gonna go through with it...and I'm not easily fooled...

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a bridge to buy.

I think people thought that they were going to see a confrontation, one-on-one, not a title switch or even an actual match.

I think Rock/Hogan had a lot to do with the rating. Plus Survivor sucks ass.

From 1wrestling, obviously...

This week's edition of Smackdown did a 3.4 broadcast rating, with a five share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is up from last week's 3.2 rating.

...discuss.
